I agree Amanda, as a 55 year old post menopausal woman, I have fought weight my whole life due to thyroid disease as well as other metabolic comorbodity much like PCOS. I hope as long as my insurance covers it to stay on these meds for the rest of my life. Strict lifestyle changes are needed to maintain even on GLP medications because ( as an RN) Im going to get technical the body can reach its threshold of receptor site activity in utilizing this medication. So that's why we really have to try to cut out all sugar carbohydrate rich processed foods, remain exercising or start to and maintain joy and giving thanks to The Lord.🙏

Amanda you're absolutely beautiful! We're all learning on this journey. Thus far Ive lost about 25 lbs, the first 18 lbs on Mounjaro 2.5mg. Now third shot today of Mounjaro 5mg. I also have 125lbs to lose, so I have alot more to go. I absolutely have to start exercising and eating lean meats and veggies alot more. Thank you for the wonderful tips. I'm one of those people who desperately wants to stay on the lowest dose possible, and I can if I will work really hard to do so.❤
