Then it segwayed into Drunk3P0’s comic and they did what Josh did where they purposely misinterpreted it in the WORST way possible. There was a part where the girl hugged her friend, and just like Josh they pretended that there was a massive age gap. They watched the dumb advertisement/trailer and at one point Dickson showed himself tweeting “This is a child grooming manual. Very sick stuff.”😂. Then throughout the rest of the show they’d occasionally reference it and dunk on “DrunkP-D-0”. I would feel bad for the guy, but I highly doubt he even cares that Eric and PedoFlash slandered Katydid as a sicko who rap s dogs and other vial stuff she never did. The guy got on the wrong ship.

5:46 that's something I've noticed about the "detractors" or people trashing Eric, a lot of people jumping on are leftists and truly terrible people. ActualFandom is very vocal about Eric Juneteenth, but he is an anti-white leftist, he openly hates white men and regurgitate white guilt nonsense. Eric went on a stream to debate another one in his community, and at one point this guy is arguing "What's wrong with teaching children about gender ideology?" Eric Juneteenth's comic is pretty shitty and full of flaws, but a LOT of people in this circle hate ComicsGate and right wingers in general, and they don't have any genuine criticism about ISOM.
As someone who has backed many a video game on kickstarter or other crowdfunding platforms, I've never once expected to get the thing I preordered on time. People out there expect their art to be delivered on time like some sort of premade product that just needs to be grabbed off a warehouse shelf and shipped thru the mail? I thought everyone understood it takes time and is subject to delays for any number of reasons-if anything, we would PREFER a delay rather than a crap product delivered on time. A delayed product that is good is always better received than an on time product that sucks and is clearly rushed/unfinished. Whether it's a video game or a comic book or whatever.
I've backed dozens of crowdfunding campaigns for video games, board games, etc and something shipping anywhere near on time is the exception. Crowdfunding is not a pre-order, it is patronage to allow the creator(s) to make the product in the first place.
He's partially right about the underlying contributions to Eric July's success, but the largest factor is that Eric July's fanbase has an average IQ below room temperature. Where he lost me is these young black people on RU-vid becoming popular for reacting to music Gen X grew up with. Last I checked most people enjoying finding people who share their interests or are willing to experience those interests. Reaction content is a low hanging fruit of RU-vid for sure but given the number of young white women that are reacting to movies on the platform, I don't think race factors into it all that much.
