I was half ready to see one of y'all slide out in a turkey costume and put the hammer on him lol. Great job of pulling that bad boy off his hen and bringing him in close. Congrats on another successful spring turkey hunt!
That was OUTSTANDING!!! Excellent footage and made me smile the entire 20 minutes. Congratulations Cheyenne. Great job to your dad, he is raising you right!!😎
Awesome video never did walleye before because we don’t have many of them here but it looks so fun they fight good where we live it is more bass and trout still really exciting though😊
Tim I don't buy minnows. Get them from friends pond. Plus sometimes they only bite a jig with a minnow. All depends on water clarity. We catch them with blade baits, soft plastics and crank style baits besides hair jigs.
@@f2foutdoors we haven't used them for years, hair jigs with a stinger until we switch over to weapons. To each as own tho. Can't beat catching them in shallow water tho! Good luck!
@@timothymenter6919 Very true. We still use hair but no stingers. But I have started using the Detriot River jig on the lake and have been doing very well. Thanks for good wishes and hope the same to you. Will have a new walleye video up soon.
John you missed the point. Females are the reason we have a new hatch. Males out number females 2 to 1. Plus the big females are much more prone to carry more mercury in them.
That's my spot...I put in at Luna Pier and troll bouncers and spinners through there in summer. Nice video...gonna try this technique. Got about 6 weeks.
Are you using a stinger hook? And is there any color recommendation? Also, I have a hard time finding Michigan hook restricions. Ohio is 1 hook with a 1/2" max shank to tip during the spawn. Michigan is vague.
@@tommyschlegel5653 no sir. I take the stinger hook off. Just feed the minnow through the mouth and out the back. If water is dark I use a black or purple and even a blade bait to make some noise near the bottom. Lift a few inches and soon as it hits bottom lift again. Don't do the hard twitch just slow and low.
You have great production in your videos. Are you completely stopping your fishing for the fall/winter? This is when I do MOST of my fishing. Totally reversed. Nice video. Will be subscribing and watching for more.
Thanks Pond Solo. And I subbed back. I am not completely done for the year. Will be headed to St. Claire for some walleye and musky this weekend. I wind down on fishing to get after some waterfowl then a little gun deer hunts before Jan. Good luck on your adventures.
By the way what lake were you on? And thanks for taking as good of care of the fish you could with the equipment you had! Seriously! Things like that are the reason I always keep a bigger net on the boat no matter what I'm fishing for lol
@@f2foutdoors I'll take a musky any species! . Hudson lake in Michigan? Just wondering because you mentioned fishing st clair didn't know where you are from?
