Yo. Y'all need to up your sharpening game. Best it's awful. You ask that people pay for sharpening but the edge you put on makes it duller than how it comes. Get better.

🗡️ Regal in its dimensions this arming sword has a very practical cut-and-thrust blade that will excel in both qualities; it was skillfully crafted by Zach and Sonny Suttles of Valiant Armoury in the USA and all its component parts were fabricated at their workshop. The blade is well-tempered 6150 high carbon steel with a well-honed edge. Its hilt is steel and the wooden grip is bound in tightly fitted leather. The blade was permanently mounted into the hilt with a robust hot peen assembly. The sword is matched with a wooden scabbard which is bound in masterfully executed and embossed top grain leatherwork. Integrated hangers with adjustable antiqued metal buckles are fitted onto the scabbard and these can be used to buckle onto the included sword belt. The sword belt is thick and supple leather which is tooled and embossed with matching scrollwork design and Monarchical crowns. It can be adjusted to fit about the waist and the sword hangers which attach to the scabbard can be used to tailor the height and angle that the scabbard sits at when attached to the sword belt. Pool noodles are a deceptively difficult target to cut for those who haven't done it before, heavily relying on technique, edge geometry, and sharpness. Cutting one loosely hanging like that is a testament to the kind of job the sharpening folks at KoA do.
Nice sword. I wish that y'all would show the distal taper on the blades when you show them. The close-up view in this video was very good, but would have been even better if the camera had zoomed out just a bit so we could see the entirety of the blade. I hate to sound like I'm complaining, I really liked the video, I just thought constructive criticism might be welcome.
unfortunately these types were probably never used, the famous morning star one handed flail is mostly a myth and were not actually used, real combat flails were two handed and had a wooden end that was long and heavy, it was great for hitting targets behind shields.
