Been watching this series. I've got a friend that has the 85 goldwing limited. It's in pieces at his garage and I've been trying to talk him into selling it to me. I'd love a good project bike. I've subscribed. Keep it up, and, thanks!
@@RpmAuto yeah I know that, but I gotta work with it lmao, is the intake and throttle body the only main change? I gotta patch a small hole in a cylinder head, might need to take the whole thing down.
@@RpmAuto I just curious I got a non turbocharged 301 from factory and gotta fix a small home in the cylinder head, the wall the olds water away from oil right behind the freeze plug. Would high temperature sealant work? Like a jb weld epoxy that can hold up till 400 degrees be ok?
@@rbcp6873 well I would think JB would work. But you got to really clean the surface good and mix jb right. I have put Magna Steel on the side of an engine block under a freeze plug and it has been holding up for a long time.
Lot of work! For all information about your car you can ask PHS. I drive my 71 all around, a beast! Welcome to the transam world mate. Have fun👍 Cheers from France
The grilles are supposed to have black Torx screws so you don't see them against the grille. I bought a couple of pairs for mine and they were $149 for the set with hardware. They fit just fine.
I have a question for you I rebuilt my engine on my 2012 Chevy Colorado 3.7 motor but it runs good and everything but now it's turning off on stop signs and lights running on high speed goes good a change oxygen sensor cranking throttle body keep turning off my mechanic couldn't figure it out he gave up

Your welcome. Yeah he really don't need no more😂 But let him enjoy his toys. He has a vision , passion and knowledge for classic fords cars more than any older gentle man I have meet.
No I haven't had an issue. I usually check out their profile on Facebook Marketplace. Interacting with people on Facebook can usually give me a hint on how they're going to be I guess. But I always take someone with me unless it's not my first time going there and I haven't built a relationship with the person buying something.

I owned a 1990 Pacific Coast I bought new back in 1992. The round gauges on the dash don’t come with the bike. Your previous owner added them. The Honda logo on the truck he also added. The hydraulic lift is design to raise the trunk on its own. Yours may be worn or possibly need adjustment. It’s one of the best all around and reliable bikes I’ve ever owned. I did everything from touring cross state to grocery shopping with it. I live in NY and tourists would take pictures next to it. Seriously. What some owners didn’t know…is that the truck is not only water tight….but each side has a drain plug. So you can pack cold cuts, sandwich’s and soft drinks on ice and head up to the mountains for a picnic. Then drain the water thru the plugs when done. As for passengers….i carried everyone from my girlfriend to a 300lb friend with no problem. Lots of torque. The gas tank located under the seat gives it a nice low center of gravity for cornering compared to my current FJR1300 which the weight is up high. Lots of great memories I have of my PC800.
Hey just wanted to say the car the TA looks great even after all the issues you had trying to get it painted correctly keep up the videos really enjoy them
Make sure to use only the 3M black adhesive to put them on. Don’t use the yellow, it doesn’t work LOL. The aftermarket seals tend to be a little bit harder than the originals but eventually will settle in with time. It looks like you went with pre-1981 style decals as 1981 decals, at least the second design that is, were two color style.
