Jonny Quest was my first tv crush! I totally love that show bc it was so adventurous and I was considered a tomboy back in the day. Also, it was pretty culturally inclusive, like star Trek. I'm currently watching it now on Tubi and I have the DVDs. I have also turned my nephew on to them and he loves them too.
Mighty Heroes. I love Bakshi.As a child. Then as security head at a mall there was a cartoon loop playing in a corner. Mighty Heroes came on. I was hooked again.
why has this missing scene come to light now, instead of when the special edition dvd was released in 2010? a damn shame! you only see a little bit of these scenes in the trailer. :/
I watched Mighty Mouse Playhouse every Saturday in the early 60s when this show came I really enjoyed it. I bought a DVD collection that has them on it for it and Calvin and The Colonel another one from my childhood.
I was 6 years old when Jonny Quest premiered in September 1964 (Every Friday night at 7:30 on ABC). I adored this show. All my Grade 2 friends would come to school on the following Monday morning to discuss that previous Friday's episode. The creator of Jonny Quest Doug Wildey was a perfectionist and oversaw every detail of each episode and more often than not went way over budget each episode. The ratings were tremendous but unfortunately, ABC wouldn't commit to another season unless the budget was significantly cut. Mr. Wildey to his credit refused to sacrifice quality for saving money and the show ended. I never understood why CBS or NBC couldn't have taken over production at that time. Ultimately Jonny Quest became so popular in syndication that all three American networks at one time carried it on Saturdays on their schedules. In looking back now it's amazing how many of the innovations introduced on Jonny Quest are now commonplace today (cell phones/jump jets/hovercrafts etc).
Same evil people that stay behind the curtains and control all this puppets dream for a long time already about a new reset of humanity. So their families can keep the control and keep doing their evil thing. Wondering how many resets they did already.

In a long long time was very hard get something about this beloved serie.Its was a great pitty ! we liked it very much and was sad when finished so soon I enjoy this book very much! specially the posible biography of the caracthers( the serie don t give many information about them) Is so funny think about Jerry in the chess club or making drama in his school ( and making sleep the public) love Jerry! Its the most special pall of a superhero!! Only i wish to know somethings more about the youth of James Nordcross Sure was the captain of the football team of his collegue! And since he was the captain his team allways win ! But he could be good for chess too!¿why no? May be he meet Jerry in a chess game. Well, we can imagine aniything because we ll never know Sadly ,it seems never will be a reboot, a film o something more. And this was a very special, and original serie, with a lot of free imagination. I want you to know , here in the opposite side of the globe we are happy with his president!
