Yes! You never know when they might show up, but there was a lot on this day at this site. Check out this video to see more: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ckPDoATD5BI.html Thanks for watching! ❤️😊
No they are harmless, and they don't bother the fish and the fish don't bother them. I am not sure what eats these if anything. But certainly fun to see!
I suppose some have tried, but they get huge, so it is not really a fish that should be kept in an aquarium, because of their size. But, let me tell you they are delicious for dinner 😂 I always eat them when I go to Africa, thanks for watching ❤
I threw it into this movie again, I notice an interesting phenomenon, these fish do not take on a light gray color at all when they are excited. They are pitch black all the time.
Male Tropheus sp. black, are black for sure 😂 I have noticed in the wild and in my aquarium that Tropheus sp. black females will lighten up a bit when they are spawning.
I am not sure I understand your question, are you wondering what these other Cichlids that are in the video, or are you wondering what other cichlids are found in the Mahale Mountains National Park? Thanks for watching!😊❤️
@@PamChin100 i wanted to do a biotope so I ordered some bulu for the tank but I'm not sure what other chiclids are together so I wanted to know what chiclids are found in the mahale
Keep in mind that may be a difficult task, since the fish from Mahale are illegal to collect. Mahale National Park is over 50 km long, so it would be better to pick a specific site, not an entire area. Please don't call these "Bulu Point" because they are not found there and Bulu Point is not in the Mahale National Park. 😂 This is Tropheus sp black, sometimes called Cherry spots, kirschfleck or double spot , that would be a more accurate description. Found with the Pseudosimochromis, Simochromis, Petrochromis, Ophthalmotilapia, Cyprichromis, Chalinochromis to name a few.
Yes sometimes it can get really rough, this isn't too bad and the clarity of the water is good. Sometimes the movement is amplified because I am floating on the surface. 😊❤️ Thanks for watching!
the fish is flamboyant, great speciman, what disappoint me are the boulders some are square, it seems a sort of a fortress wall after a shock, a crumbled wall of some sort
Yes the rocks have come from the bluff above, it is the north end of the Ulungu Escarpment, and it is easy to see where it is falling from. Thanks for watching! 😊❤️
Los grandes lagos de África. Un rosario de mares interiores, laboratorios en los que un incipiente océano heredará sus resultados y los incorporará a la competencia oceánica mundial y a la que ahora se llama Índico...❤
