It became the Banyan Gardens that lasted one year. So sad to see the umbrella tables gone, the thatched roofs gone, the Ohia wood gone and the Mother/Father Stone gone, the Hawai'iana gone, The Kama'iana Suite gone. Mrs. Perry probably is still spinning in her grave.
I ate the impossible burger 🍔 over their with the fries and a Milkshake and it was awesome 😎 and I love Wahlburgers and I wanna so work their and i would so eat the burger with the fries and have a Milkshake their it’s awesome 😎 and I agree go Wahlburgers and it’s awesome 👏 and I love that place it’s awesome and I don’t want them to close down because it’s awesome i love them better than INN&OUT burger and McDonald’s and so I wanna so get something to eat over their and I would so wear the Wahlburgers T-shirt and the hat plus it would be awesome to work their and I love Wahlburgers it’s my number 1 favorite burger place ever and I go back their every time and I would so use their picture as my wallpaper on my phone 📞 and it’s my favorite burger joint and it’s better than INN&OUT and McDonald’s and I just hope they don’t close down and I’m happy that they are gonna open another one in Pearl City 🌆 it’s awesome I love Wahlburgers

Wow it’s been years since I been at the 50th state fair! I see they have new rides and attractions. Miss the fond memories I had with family there 😢 now can create new ones.

I missed seeing the "Don Ho Show" at the hotel. When I go to Hawaii, I will put my hand on the statue to pay homage to Don. He was a native of Hawaii, an Air Force veteran, and a great American. He brought a familiarity to the islands as Hawaii became a State. He bridged cultures. Don Ho did not get enough credit.

Very enjoyable video! Some great looking food places for sure. Not to judge, but who travels to Waikiki to eat at the Cheesecake Factory? Or any other chain, for that matter. The independent, family-owned shops are superior. But maybe that's just me. Mahalo, Al.

I've never stayed at the Ilikai. When we visited our son and his family, we stayed with them in their on-base housing. I could get used to living on Oahu! I've worked midnight shift, and it's not for everyone! I liked it, as all the big bosses weren't there to bother you, and you could get some work done. Take care. I enjoy your videos.

If I were still living on Oahu, I would definitely dropped by, and thanked Rene for his piano stylings at the Kahala Hilton lounge. Amazing! Our lounge was overflowing with friends and family in the 80s and 90s. Mahalo Rene!
