ILTW is a complete, comprehensive resource to allow anyone to teach themselves piano, whatever their level, age, experience or goal set. No pandering; you get what you put in.
Sounds a little inspired by Beethoven piano sonatas. That first part is a bit like the Hammerklavier 2nd movement in F# minor. That second part where you resolve to Eb major in first inversion is also very reminiscent of Beethoven. Good stuff!
The full tutorial series is ready and available for you in my library here: igorlightstheway.com When you start a membership you'll automatically be granted a free trial period to try out everything on my platform, including of course this Merry Go Round of Life tutorial series😏
In Feb. 2024, I permanently ended my business association with the scp brand and forced the removal of all of my work from their platform. Please email me at igor@igorlightstheway.com and I will catch you up in more detail.

This is untrue. About 70% of the piece is ready on the website. I am continuing to add to the series as it is largest tutorial series I've ever made at over 10 hours so far.
Great ear man! I actually made a tutorial for 'For the Damaged Coda' and will be publishing it in a couple days. I say exactly what you just said in the intro to the video..🙌🏻
Yep! There are quite a few parts to this series. The full series is available only in my library here: Igorlightstheway.com You'll have to sign up and start a free trial to access the full series (and with the free trial, you'll be given access to the entire library catalogue of tutorials (260+ pieces) as well as lectures, technique and notation courses for a complete piano education).
Depends on the context; sometimes it's quite necessary to separate out the hands and learn them individually (when there is linear complexity within each hand). Other times, like the opening of this nocturne, which is like a tutti chordal opening and both hands have the same rhythm, it makes sense to jump in with both feet, so to speak.
Great tutorial, I learned how to play this because of you mate! But, come on Igor, give us some Chilly Gonzales - Kenaston.. It will make you feel wholesome just making the tutorial I am certain. It's a beautiful track... he has many more amazing pieces also. Also, umbrellas are worth collecting.
By far the best tutorial you can get on yt/internet. I'm definitely signing in for the whole video. Oustanding job Igor. PS your other videos are also great. I can't wait to go through your web courses. I'm a guitar player, and a begginer level pianist. Since I remember I always wanted to learn this piece. That's why I bought piano and that's why I'm here. Keep up the good work, cheers 🙂
Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy the platform; as a guitar player, you may find the study section quite useful. Lots of material to gradually improve piano technique. I'll be continuing to add to each section over the coming months.
