Mine's great, 3-4 year old now. Went to use it yesterday, could get more than 15 seconds running, I worked out it has a safety sensor for the oil level, if its low, it may not run. Make sure the oil level is right. Runs fine now,
So I had one of these unopened in a box for a couple of years, then moved to Tassie. I got it running as per instructions but the green light won’t come on. Is there a quick fix?
So I’ve followed this instruction and when powered on manual mode the unit doesn’t suck from my water bucket intake. What’s going on? I filled the filter area to prime as shown until it overflowed.
Need to see an example of it connected to a Water Tank. Page 10 of the manual says it is suitable to use with a rainwater tank. I have not been able to get this to work where the pump effectively allows water to flow through it even when turned off. I wanted to water my garden once a day taking water from the water tank however as soon as I open the outlet valve from the water tank water trickles through to the irrigation system which if left in that state would slowing drain the tank. I expected the pump to only flow water when operated either manually or via the timer and when the pump stops it should shup off the inlet valve. Without doing this it is NOT suitable to be connected to a rainwater tank as advertised. Now I need to return the pump having wasted so much time plumbing it in and am severely out of pocket. Useless dysfunctional produce not fit for purpose.

Hi mate I have one of these, but ever since brand new, it has trouble starting. Maybe it's an easy adjustment fix. It starts easy 1st time every day, but 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc starts it takes about 5 seconds to turn over, and then it stutters for another few seconds like it's struggling to turn over, but it usually always eventually starts and then just runs normal. I just wish it would start everytime instantly like the 1st time each day. I always fully charge the key start battery. Whether using the key start or pull start, same thing happens - so definitely not the battery's fault. I don't see any fuel tap or choke like on normal mowers. So there's nothing to manually adjust. When it struggles to start, it sounds just like when you forget to turn the choke back off on an old regular mower. I just wish I could see the choke to experiment adjusting it, but I can't even find it on these. Happened since brand new out of the box. Any tips much appreciated thanks cheers.
Thanks mate. Just bought this from Aldi and couldn’t get it to work even after watching your video. I had to watch your video twice to realise I had not filled it with enough water to start. But she’s kicking now
Hello I want to connect this to a grey water 100lt tank, so that everytime we shower it will turn on and water the yard.....will this work in automatic mode for this?
Hi just bought one of these myself, and looks really good especially for the price. I don't see how it could be set to turn on when your showering, but you could get a bigger tank and just do it manually. On facebook market place I picket up a 1000 L IBC for $100. Cheap. modular storage.
I got a same water pump, anyhow the water cane out intermittently, prime few times, kept waiting for more than half an hour, the water still intermittently. Any suggestions for that?
Because without the plug lots of grass will just fly around into the opening area where the catcher is attached and fall onto the ground through the blades instead of being held near them and getting mulched up properly.
strong pump, provides good pressure, but automatic mode doesn't work for me. Pump has good water intake. All air is pushed out of pipe and when I close the tap pump might run indefinitely. I have to turn it off manually. By the way, 1. double checked the pipe and fittings, even that it's short run, there is no leakage. Yesterday I used pump last time and today when I opened the tap, some water came under pressure, meaning pipe, fittings and non-return valve are good and holding pressure. 2. previous pump worked on same installation and was working in auto mode OK, so it must be problem with the pump itself? Any thoughts? Thanks!
