Weekend Shenanigans, usually involving Florida man stuff. We like UTV’s, trucks, campers, the woods, and other Redneck Express stuff. We bring buji on a budget, and inflatable jacuzzis are life.
I'm extremely confused. Even buying mopar filters, my cummins oil changes are <$100. That's 1x oil filter, 1x fuel filter, & 3x gallons of rotella t6 5w-40... So, where did the other $400 go in your dually??
What year was your truck? Ours was a 2020, there is two fuel filter and they were over $100 a piece. However, this was five years ago and I would imagine it is much cheaper now. It also was most likely my fault for not finding the best deals on parts. I have a 2010 Chevy Duramax as well, I can do that oil change including the external trans filter for about $100.
Really well, I am not exactly sure how many miles I put on them but it is around 30 thousand miles this last year. I am horrible about rotating them, but I watch the tread to ensure I don't murder them.
At ham radio Field Day, our generator with its external tank stopped mysteriously for no reason at all. I am guessing that someone left the external tank tightly capped, and that no fuel could flow since there was no vent.
@bandbworkx That's good. I bought a fan override switch that I'm installing with the Wild Boar relocation kit I'm currently doing. I'm hoping that addition helps as well.
I'm heading to the dealer today to look at a low mile (16k) 2022 Power Wagon to tow a 23' 4,400lb off-grid trailer to remote locations. I wanted a truck with locking diffs, winch, and gas motor. Gas, because the savings on oil changes, fuel costs, DEF costs, and DPF replacement costs long term would offset the poorer gas mileage of the gas engine.
It is one nut, then use a mallet to hit the bolt back. The bolt should pull out after that, if it doesn't a screw driver should fit to push the bolt out further.
I guess I will be on the kiddy trails LOL mine is a RMAX 1000 xtr its set up for steep trails and rocks and with a permanent steal skid plate it would not be easy to clean out packed in mud thanks for the info@@bandbworkx
@@JeffreyJohnston724 We usually end up there for our night rides, after dealing with water all day its fun to not have to. You will have plenty of fun out there. They have some rad sand sections that lead into the woods and trees you could climb up as well.
Never understood the diesel crowd. You all b*tch about costs...but keep everything stock (DEF DPF EGR ETC) so as to continue incurring said costs??? And your answer to that is you dont want to void the warranty...but then go on and on about how much more reliable your diesel is???
I will say, if they tow every day they shouldn't have problems. But most people don't, so their exhaust temps are low, which will ruin their truck. Dan runs nothing but diesel trucks. But they tow every day, so no problems. But I don't, so gas for me.
I actually have never seen a too like that before. I have also never needed one either, but I've got to change 8 tires on my lawn tractors, and I may make one of these.
Just bought my 2500 hemi, I can’t seem to get better an 10 mpg.. I’m not sure if the tires & lift have anything to do with it but it doesn’t seem correct..
I believe I have the same generator. I was wondering if your idea had been put to the test so to speak. Considering doing the same thing with mine. Thanks
It works, I still need to figure out a better ventilation system for the tank. It runs fine on a light load, but it doesn't like running at higher rpms
