Bro , please take your time to settle your energy . I dont understand why you want me to feel your confusion and scariness of a GO! Swallow it and give us some revolution in your self doubts .
Hi mate, you've driven both the BMW F800GS and the Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro. Leaving aside the seating height (I'm 1.78cm tall), which engine made it easier for you to control it? How was the heat hitting the legs? Can you say something about vibration? If you were to make a general evaluation, which engine would you prefer?
Hey, well both bikes felt very nice and premium. That being said, I think for me it's still the f800gs that just made me giggle more, and it felt a bit better in most ways, some are hard to even pinpoint but for example the engine, definitely I like the growl and torque on the f800gs more. The position is also slightly different, even if very similar, but on the f800gs you feel a bit more inside the bike rather than on top of it (which I liked), might be because there's a bigger height difference between the rear and front part of the bike, so you feel like you have a big chunk of the bike in front of you. I think those would be the main two things. Regarding your other questions, I can't say i felt much of vibrations with either, but I didn't get to drive highway speeds, so there might be. Also for heat I did feel some, coming from the BMW engine at some point, worth pointing out indeed, but probably also because it was a scorching hot day and I couldn't ride too fast in the traffic at all. Cheers!
I have had my z400 for three years, I still love it and have no reason to replace it. I have had my license for over 25 years, so not a new rider. The best thing about the bike is its engine, it is very smooth and easy to control at slower speeds.
I have the same year and color. Added some of the same stuff plus auxiliary lights and heated grips. Had a slip on that sounded good but robbed me of power. So off it went . Maybe I’ll give Kawasaki the money for their slip on
Yeahh it's still the same. The hot air from the radiator will hit you. In tiger 1200 they have put out some deflectors to move the wind away from you. There are or will be after market deflectors to move the hot wind away from you from 900s as well.
Show a full 28mm throttle twist and let people see how it rips like an R6, and the reality is that the bike is a 4 speed, 5th and 6th are like a double overdrive made for downhill riding, false neutrals and gears popping out come from not using the bike as a 4 speed, 4th gear 92mph is more then enough at half throttle.😃
Great review, as a user myself, I agree that this bike is made mainly for countryside roads and for cities. I definitely don't enjoy riding it on highway. Other than that, it is perfect for the money.
yoooo nice video! Quick question, regarding the top box holder, how is it? I heard those types that bolt to the footpeg are dangerous because they bend and sometimes crack while on the highway. How is it? How heavy are the weights that it can handle?
Thanks brother! And the top box is pretty good, i don't think you'll have issues with it if you don't overload it. The manual mentions 4kg / 9lbs for Max weight. And also they say you should stick to 120km/h or 75Mph as top speed while having it installed, but so far so good for me. I have a video on the top case and side bags actually if you're interested.
Nice review and ride. You were nonplussed by the many cows on the road. I laughed when you talked about the seat. I own a Z500 and obviously your experience applies to the newer model with some notable changes being the TFT / LCD display and the slightly higher displacement. Look forward to seeing more.
@@motography9737 nice review sir. here’s what I did to help fix the seat. If you take the seat off, you’ll notice that there is a bracket bolted in with two bolts towards the gas tank that holds the seat up. I went to a dollar store and surprisingly they had longer bolts that fit in perfect. What it is that you want to do is stick a couple washers maybe an inch or so and put in those longer bolts with the washers underneath the bracket.this will help lift the seat up. I also bought an Amazon seat and seat cover. After I put the seat cover on, I stuck a sponge between the seat and the seat cover right up front where your.” taint.” is. It works perfect. I am 63 years old and have been riding since the mid 70s. One thing that you did not mention that should be mentioned is the gas mileage on this little guy. I no longer have range anxiety. It took me 3 gallons to ride to Yosemite from Concord California. I was amazed. It’s the perfect bike if you’re not in a hurry.
@@karlfonner7589 Many thanks for stopping by, and that sounds like a great fix to the seat issue :) No issues with water getting under the seat or anything right? Also I'm glad you're enjoying the bike, ride safe!
Im so eager to buy this one. Cant wait. 6:28 Triumph is the only one ( I think ) who builds a T-Crank tripple. Yamaha loves their tripples too but they use a inline standard one
@@motography9737 I'm coming from a different universe 😂 did only Motocross never really driven on the road with a bike. Coming from a 450 KTM and I'm definitely going for the carnival red as yours in video. I think it's illegally sexy 😄
standard inline 3 cyls sounds pretty good to be fair, but I believe the major point with triump going T-crank tripple was to help with traction for offroad useage.
@@hafentoffen2 it really is a question of taste. I prefer the rougher T-crank sound thats slightly different from a V twin over the whistling of a inline. But again preferences
Many people say say this bike is boring. Well it isn’t! It’s a small GS. As long as you don’t plan to travel with a pillion, it’s fine and perfectly customizable!
Hello! This was a fun and honest rewju!😅😊😊😊I ride a BMW F750 GS, (The model 800 replaces) and it is a fantastic driving machine! I recommend you buy a BMW f800 GS, you won't regret it! And you'll quickly get used to the size of the bike! I have an inseam of 30. Enjoy!👍😊
@@motography9737 Difference is a few cc, everything else is the same! I have a 2021 f750gs te, its awesome, love it. Don't need to lower the suspension just get the lower seat which comfort wise is actually as good as the stock seat, it will give you that missing bit of required confidence back, I know, I am the same height!. Oh and a madstad screen!
Yeah definitely would have to sell the z400 first. One can dream for the day of a garage full of bikes though😄And I have, actually the Versys 650 used to be what I wanted go for as my next bike but it is even taller than this so that's a bit concerning, but for sure a very versatile and capable bike. Maybe I can go sit on one one day.
I'd love to, and I will! It is in plan to go on longer European trips, however I am a bit anxious about the comfort on the z400 for longer rides😂I'll start with smaller ones and work up from there. If not, I'll get another bigger bike and definitely hit the road :) I am actually contemplating some options for a more touring friendly bike as we speak.
I've just bought the same bike in same colour. It looks amazing and is the performance edition with Akrapovic exhaust, seat cowl and tank pads, bigger screen. Ex demo from a dealer, 31 miles on it. Great for shorter riders as low seat height and a nice light bike.
Hey man! Great to see you back, I have been wondering what you've been up to. That seat looks GREAT. It was fun seeing the windshield install on the spot - though I did keep waiting for the IKEA security guard to come out and tell you to leave 🤣😂(that is the same one as your earlier video right?) and I really like the look of the windshield too. Did you find it interfere with your field of vision directly in front of the bike? I have a Shad top case on my daily driver (a Honda PCX), and I really enjoy it. I am looking in to getting side cases for it as well - looking forward to your experience on the Z400. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers mate! Yeah just managed to get the bike out, winter almost over. And hahah you remembered 🤣🤣 it is the same place, but it was probably too cold for the guards to pay attention to me this time 😄. I got used to the new windshield height in the short ride after already, it's not as intrusive as the GoPro shows it (gopro is positioned lower, around my chin). I might experiment a bit with the GoPro positioning to see if I can get it higher. But anywho! Nice to hear you're enjoying Shad luggage. I'll come back with the new stuff when they arrive. Thanks for stopping by :)
I have the same bike, I put on a bigger screen as well and had a custom seat made for it, so it was more comfortable. I have had my bike 3 years and still love it.
Did you tried a bar end mirror? I like the style but dont know about the visibility. Btw, nice channe, i have a ninja 250 that i use to daily and on the track, and want to go a little bigger, chossing about the z400 or the ninja 400. But anyway, great videos!
