We LOVE our Keter Manor shed! We turned it into a Backyard Bathroom! ru-vid.comVjOzUxcDXGA P.S. I'm a middle-aged female and it took me about 4 hours by myself to put this together! Well worth it!
So... did you design it? Build it? Modify it? What did you do, as a man, other than buy something? Men are supposed to talk about our accomplishments, not our purchases. You may as well be talking about that pack of gum you bought. This is girl stuff, going on social media to talk about your purchases. Man uo, for your kids' sake. You are teaching them through your actions to be thirsty, tech addicted morons.
What people don't understand about EV range is that IT DOESN'T MATTER in day to day life (if you have home charging of course). It only matters during road trips, which is a very small percentage of driving for most people. Even then if you charge to 100% most EVs can get 4 hours of driving before needing to charge the first time and then you charge up enough in 15-30 minutes to drive another 2 to 3 hours...which is usually about my limit before I want to stop for break (and often need to for myself, wife and kids for a bathroom break). Yes if you are constantly on the road or drive for a living where time is key then EVs probably aren't for you.
Preach! And to pay 10-20k more for more range is silly for most who only use or want extended range for trips like 1-5 times a year. And even then, the only difference is a stop of two. So we’re talking 1-5 hours difference A YEAR. I know I don’t want to pay 10-20k extra for that.
I'm assuming that was a slip of the tongue, not the only one in the video. Judging by the rear sliding glass. I'd say it's a Lariat, not an XLT. I still think it was a huge mistake for Ford to release the Lariat in both short and long range versions, makes it almost impossible to shop for one. Should have been XLT-short, Lariat-long. in 2024 with the introduction of "Flash" they finally made a deliniation where you can tell by model which it is.
@@Green__one with 2023 an easy tell with Lariat is to compare between the to 510A (SR) and 511A (LR) is looking for a sunroof. If the lariat has one it is the 511A and it is long range.
@@Green__one That is my guess, because if you go to Ford's site and look at the options for 2023 Lariat it's not possible to add the sunroof on the standard range. Maybe if it was custom order you could. With XLT it's more difficult due to the fact that you could get LR and SR with both of their packages.
@@MasterBun4You Unfortunately I just disproved your hypothesis, I found a 2022 Lariat 510A for sale with extended range battery and no sunroof. That said, I'm finding that the platinums on the used market are basically the same price as the lariat ER models (and sometimes SR models!), so I may just go that way instead. Easier to shop, and you get everything. Will need to replace the wheels to get decent range, but that seems easy enough.
I think a Sensibo remote IR unit has a thermostat/humidity sensor so it doesn't rely on the wall mount thermostat. Still trying to decide between a Daikan, Mitsubishi, or LG multi zone inverter heat pump.
We bought one and returned it despite a" restocking fee" of 300.00 to the unresponsive sketchy seller. Cheap hardware/ construction materials. The off gassing from the stain smelled unlike any stain I have encountered. I guess its ok if you only have 2 chickens and if there are no wind gusts and even warm temp. Personally I would not put my birds in that coop. Period.
I tow 2 or 3 times per year. Coleman Tent Trailer full weighs 2500 lbs or less and gear in the bed. I'm not worried about the range. There is enough chargers to get where I'm going.
Offensive yet good manners 😅. Glad you are enjoying your purchase. There is a lot of misinformation out there and it reinforces people’s unconscious biases so makes it seem reasonable and believable.
My thoughts exactly on people’s thought about EVs. I don’t care about the politics and the other arguments. Thanks for the reassurance. I pick mine up this week.
I live in Red Country if you know what I mean here in the southeast. I could care less about any politics as well. I picked up a Mach E about 2 weeks ago and have been called just about everything you can think of by people. Whats crazy is I own three other ICE vehicles so it makes no sense to me. I have also been asked what am I going to do when the battery needs to be replaced or explodes. I have heard it all the last 2 weeks. Enjoy your new truck! I was hoping Ford was going to bring the electric transit connect here but it was scraped as I use those vans for my business and not the larger transits. I may pick up a lightning in a few months as well.
I find it frustrating that people assume all sorts of politics on my behalf just because I have an EV. I don't have it to make a political statement, I don't have it to "save the planet" or because I agree with Elon Musk's politics. I have it because I love the tech, and hate filling up at gas stations. It's that simple. I bought an EV because it was a better vehicle for me than an ICE vehicle. That's it, that's all. The lightning will be my next vehicle, but I'm going to debadge it. Sure, people who know EVs will know what it is immediately, but I'm tired of being "that tesla guy". I still want an EV, I just don't want to be a billboard anymore. And around here, if people ask what I drive and I say "F150", nobody will bat an eye.
Im considering the lightning std range. Mostly city driving. Everyone says get x range. What do you think? Really want the Blue Cruise. Do you have this?
HI. If you are driving mostly city there would be no reason to have extended range as ev's get better range in the city than on the highway. I do have Blue cruise hands free is only on mapped interstate highways. Thanks for watching.
Having driven EV only for 9 years now, I think it's stupid that the short range version even exists. 300miles should have been the standard range, and they should have had a larger battery above that. That said, if you never plan to leave the city, the short range one is more than you'll ever need, even if towing a trailer around. But you can expect any roadtrip to be painful.
Thanks for the review, glad you’re enjoying it! Nice to see it’s working well for you in WI. I’m in MN and people always worry about the weather. No oil changes is a huge plus. 😄
Well all I do when I watch something it is on RU-vid I don't watch regular T.V. or the news. Is their something you have on RU-vid I would be able to pick something up from?
I just bought the .75 ton version of yours. I have a question that maybe you can answer: the specs say its a heatpump, but there is no "sun" icon on the remote that pops up after pressing "mode". Do you rhink the manufacturer packed up a a.c. only remote with the heatpump version?
I understand the fan going off. I don't understand the unit fully cycling the outdoor unit off. It doesn't go into suspend/slow. It fully turns off (you can hear the refrigerant bleeding). I mean it's FULLY off
I am curious. When in heat mode my unit cycles On/Off (fan stops) no error codes so daikin says normal. every experience I had was fan should be on most of the time
@@interestinglyenough4093 6-speed manual transmission. The safety system, which is known for failing, isn’t available with the manual transmission eliminating a source of possible headaches.
I'm hearing that road noise at speed. I just started a series sound proofing my 2018 Forester on my channel, super easy and cheap, like <$200 in material makes about a 2-4dB average difference. Anyways, mine is a 6 speed manual, 28.5mpg average with Crossclimate2 tires (all season, poor fuel efficiency), pulls the family and trailer no problem, love mine too! 🍻 73k miles on the clock, I've had to replace a wheel bearing. Everything else has been gas oil brakes tires. 👍
Can also dip a USB cable in rubbing alcohol, and plug/unplug/plug/unplug the cable in a few times, and it will help clean the electrical contacts. (Car OFF/no power, of course).
I am trying to decide between a diaken 30k or 36 vs a cooper hunter unit and even looking at Mr cool units..Hard decision.Would you purchase this unit again?? House is 12 1400 square what size is yours and what size ac did you buy? THANKS
GO outside and see if you have 2 shut off valves not being used..You probably have a single zone unit but they do make double zone triple zone and quad zone which I have...Look where the lines run into the house and if you have 2 extra valves you can.. .@@raidergainzx5290
Thanks for sharing your real world experience with the F-150 Lightning in a rural location. You might consider making a video on your order, purchase and delivery experience. Some folks have had issues with dealers marking up this vehicle.
I just commented to your Orpington Lodge chicken coop, which I also had, but ended up selling. Then I found this video you made about the Keter shed, which I also have! Ha Ha! I love this Keter shed. It's been great for storing my chicken feed and supplies. I live in Southern California, so not a lot of rain, but it hasn't leaked yet. I think it was a good buy.
I bought the Orpington Lodge coop a couple years ago. It ended up too small for 5 hens. I also didn't like how shallow the coop floor / tray is. I had to clean out the poop everyday or my hens would end up stepping in their droppings. It's a good coop and run for young chickens, but later you will find that you need something larger where you can practice the deep litter method and your hens will need a larger run to move around.
I'll just stick to my 25-year old truck as it's still cheaper to run than an electric vehicle and still more environmentally friendly than an electric vehicle.
Thanks for your info. The free DC fast charge is only 50KW. I believe it is part of a program to entice people to stop in town. Theis is also a free level 2 in my town. Thanks for watching.
What really sucks about these Daikin units is, after a while, the indoor units will start whistling as the air comes out and no matter what you do the noise will never go away again. It's probably as the system gets clogged. After a few years it's noisy as hell. I have 3 indoor units like that (a little older but pretty much the same thing, filters and all), and they all became noisy. Another thing that happens is, beyond a few years of use, the indoor units will also cease to be able to be turned on using the remote (which also renders the schedule-on function incapacitated). This means that, if you wake up in the winter in bed and it's freezing , you will need to get up and physically turn the device on on the power button on the unit itself. This has already happened on 2 of my 3 units and I'm sure it will also happen on the 3rd one soon...
@@interestinglyenough4093 My pleasure! I also hope it has gotten fixed in those newer models. I noticed that, sometimes, the scheduling function still works so, at least you can program it to turn on like 10 minutes before you wake up, hehehe. The first times I tried it, it wasn't working however. But after commenting on this video, I renewed my persistence on trying to get the scheduling to work and fortunately it tit. Unfortunately though, I still can't instantly turn any of the units on using the remote. It's not so bad though as now, at least, I can schedule it to wake up before I do and not have to get out of bed freezing to turn it on, hehehe :D Have a good one!
Whistling noise? typical daikin You need a deep cleaning. I don't know where you live but if it's a country where the mini split is starting to boom up then I guess the tech won't know how to 'properly' clean the unit yet. You need to remove almost everything from the wall, and then use somewhat high pressure water to clean the evaporator from the outside to inside, inside to outside and the backside. A lot of black stuff (dirt, mood, etc.) will come out and then you will solve the whistling noise problem and plus regain the efficiency of the unit.
Thank you very much for this information, Mikaela! :D The last time I approached techs about this they said that it "couldn't be fixed" so they probably didn't know how to, as you said. But this was over 10 years ago. I should probably try again :D Thanks again! @@mikaelahyakuya3485
HI. I don't remember what I referenced in the video. I know I have to have the temp set way higher than what I want the room to be as the thermostat is only right when the unit is off. It is a 24,000 btu. Thanks for watching.
Read This on "HVAC BOSS". Regards Mini Splits to keep Utility Cost down... "If possible, avoid extreme temperature settings. Try to keep your chosen temperature within 10 °F (5 °C) of the ambient outdoor temperature." I live in Central California. Under our Patio this past Summer...our ambient stayed appx 115F to 126F. I guess for the mini split temp controller that means 105-116F settings. Thank you HVAC BOSS.
24/7 ON Time!!! Another YT guy experienced that. His RESULT was his Utility Bills set record record highs for his Family. His unit was much Larger than yours. Three head units. He did'nt need a Secondary source heat unit tho. Some YT'Rs reported frequent maintenance. Im studying more on Options. Interesting is Most Garage Split Unit buyers seems Happy. THO they ALL don't live in their Garage/Shop.
Thanks for the video. Is Ecoflow River Plus and Ecoflow River are the same? I know Ecoflow River, River Max, and River Pro. I don't know any before about Ecoflow River Plus
Just purchased a 23 Crosstrek sport. Absolutely love it! Wife and I come from a Tacoma pro and although we loved it we needed something more gas economical AND still able to handle some adventures off-road and this was the perfect choice!
I'm getting a 23 limited! Can't wait! I had to order it so I'm having to wait a few more weeks 😩 I'm trading in my jeep wrangler in for the same reasons.
Im thinking of dumping my Tacoma for one of these due to back wrecking seating position. Is there a huge improvement in comfort in the Subaru over the taco ?
