I'm pretty sure the ending is actually a good one. The story requires you to have a full moon at night. And it's in day. He probably locked Carnevil away or he is now sliding into Evil Marie's DMs (totally not a stolen joke)
I played quite a few B lister fighting games back in the late 90s and early 00s, but Mace is the only one i remember...and quite fondly. It could easily have grown into a franchise to rival the likes of Soul Calibre if the stars had lined up a bit differently A talented studio definitely needs to scoop up the IP and deliver a modern incarnation
Glad this wasn't a hack video where the person claimed they took no damage because we all know the game always makes you take damage. That how the business money.
I'm mean, this game should be revived. Revamped, just like soul calibur but even better!!! All of the characters are different amazing in there own way. They can put more variety as well. Damn can we make this happen tho as fans?! Justice for Mace
When the Moon is full and trees are bare - Walk though the Cemetery if you dare. Where skeletons rot and corpses fester - Locate the tomb with the skull of a Jester. Feed him the token all shiny and new - It is then that CarnEvil will return for YOU!
Bring this back I remember when I was a kid I'd get my braces fixed and I'd go to Aladdins castle and play this for hours probably spent 20$ dollars in this game
this game was always a fever dream sorta lost media in my head, i remember first seeing this game back at some small town bowling alley when i was about 5-6, just the demo trailer itself had me in shambles cause of the scary imagery it had all around, but im not sure... there was something interesting about this game. now im not trying to start no mandela effect or anything, so take off your tin foil hats. but for some reason, i remember the first cut scene of this game staring with the camera panning down a neighborhood block and then the camera looks over at the house which was this Dark Victorian styled house, just like the same as showed in 2:25. yeah after seeing the small jumpscare, you can guess what 5-6 year old me did.. i ran away and i didn't want to step foot in that arcade cause i know id be reeled back in to keep on watching more.. but seeing it now, idk it's sorta comforting? i like laughing back at things like this (currently 19 yrs old writing this) , if i ever run into this game ever in my life again, i'll definitely have to try it out.
Damn I can see part of the reason why people went out to the arcades in the 90s, the graphics were way better then the home systems at the time. The character models in this look like later PS2 era in terms of detail.
That moment you realise the protagonist of this game is 11 years old and is mowing down monsters with a gun while under the threat of being killed himself...
