JoJo’s Espresso is a mobile trailer that sells specialty coffee beverages and freshly baked pastries. Our goal is to serve coffee in areas of Memphis, Tennessee and surrounding suburbs that do not have quick access to specialty coffee shops. We will park in areas around busy intersections. We will also make our trailer available to special events such as business parties, weddings, conventions, church events, etc. JoJo’s Espresso will make its best effort to provide the best brewed coffee and or espresso and pastries in town. We will be in the business of helping our customers to relieve their daily stresses by warming up with one of our specialty beverages in different convenient locations, offering friendly customer service and supplying products of consistently high quality.
Love that you have these coffee trailer build videos out! So kind of you to share your experience in order to teach others. What dimensions is your window opening?
hello there! we are beginning our build and would love to know if you would consider creating a “blueprint” with a specbook to buy or download for inspiration and to use as a guide
Hey mate, awesome videos. Outstanding work. You might have answered someone this same questions, how do you know your grey water tank is getting full? Is it visible somewhere? cheers
Hello how are today! Looking to get into the food truck business and I watch lots of these videos because I know nothing about them lol.May i ask where you purchased your trailer?
Can I ask what type of paint you used on the outside. I was thinking of using oil based because it holds up better against the elements and has a high gloss finish. I don't believe it can be used in a paint sprayer Any suggestions, orY I ask whY you used
Hello! This is a very helpful video, thank you so much! We are currently in the process of building a coffee trailer and ordered the Bosch 2.5 gallon water heater. Would you recommend we exchange it for the 4 gallon one? Thanks again
I think you’d be fine with a 2.5 gallon! We really only use hot water to wash our hands and to clean supplies. Which doesn’t take a ton of water in the first place
Hey! We actually sell our trailer plans for $200. It includes construction plans, materials, equipment lists, construction pictures, and layout plans. Let me know if you’re interested!
@@jojosespresso9264 ohhh I’m so happy you answered ! I just bought a trailer that was set up for smoothies and I’m going to convert it to coffee, I have SO MANY QUESTIONS, would you be willing to do some coaching?
I see you are in TN. We are starting a coffee trailer In Dickson TN. what do you usually start at on your fiorenzato for the grind? We have went all around that thing had the right grams and everything and we can not get a shot to pull between 25-30 seconds any help would be great.
Hey Amanda, sorry to hear about the grinder giving you troubles. I honestly don’t know what number it’s set at but it has been pretty consistent for the past two years. Which model of the Fiorenzato do you have?
Great video! I have a question: For plumbing your espresso machine underneath, did you pipe the hose straight into a fresh water tank directly as the machine pumps it up? Or is there also an external water pump connected from Water + Pump + Espresso Machine? Thank you
Hey David, so the plumbing chain goes like this… starts from the fresh water tank then goes to the pump, then to an accumulator tank, then to the sinks, then to the rinser, then to the water filter, then espresso machine, then the 2nd accumulator tank, then to the coffee brewer. All one line!
Thank you! No specific info since I had an electrician do all the electrical in the trailer. He did however run a 220v line to where the espresso machine is just incase we wanted to upgrade to a 220v machine in the future. Right now we have all 110v equipment.
@@jojosespresso9264 Thanks again! I just realized my wife @erinkascel talked to you on IG with questions too haha. We really appreciate you being a deep well of knowledge, thanks!
Another question. With the wall peel and stick tiles did you prime the walls and allow 72 hours drying before applying? I never follow paint time allowances and my wife does haha
Hello, It was hard for me understand what POS system you are running? Also, what hotspot router are you using for your internet to the system? Thank you
We use Light Speed for our POS and we use an iPhone for our hotspot. It was less expensive for us to add an additional line to our cellular plan than to buy an actual hotspot router.
@@jojosespresso9264 Great info!!! We are getting ready to get our coffee trailer up and running very soon. Great I’m going to look up for info on that POS and the hot spot idea👍 Thank you
Hi there. Could you tell me what you used for the framing right under neath you're metal roofing. I would like to know we are actually building ours and would like to see what others use
The whole trailer is made of 2x4 and then OSB board. Tyvek wrapping was then wrapped around the whole thing and then we applied the corrugated metal pieces.
Hey bro thank you so much, you are such an inspiration... My wife and I are also in the middle of having our trailer built and I'm having some questions about what generator to pruchase, since we have a two group espresso machine and don't want something to loud! Do you still operate your coffee truck with a one group espresso machine or did you upgrade to a two groups? If you did upgrade to a two groups what type of generator are you using? I'm humbling thanking you...
Thanks for the kind words! So we still operate with a one group machine. We desperately need a 2 group. But with doing that requires a couple of generators that run 220v. And we don’t want a super loud and heavy generator to do that. The only way to go for us would be to purchase two Honda inverter generators that are about $5k each. And the 2 group machine we’d want would be around $11k. So it’s quite the investment! But overall, everything we have right now is working great. We just have our super busy days where the one group machine can take a beating.
@@jojosespresso9264 that sounds amazing so happy for you guys, I'm a huge fan of yours and follow you on everything, I'm in Florida, you guys doing definitely amazing, thanks for all the tips and a good amount of things are very helpful to me and we are using it for our business model as well. We started in December with a tent all because Covid affected my carrier, so we decided to use the last of our funds to invest into this business, on the tent we have a one group and for sure we feel the pain lol, but all good, so going with the trailer we want to take things to the next level so I'm really trying to do my best to also not spend 5K yet, on the generator, like the Honda but there's ways to bring the noise down the box etc, from my research! I guess we have to figure that out, thank you so much for getting back to me, truly appreciate you, and your time, keep on going. You guys are an inspiration to me, btw we are also waiting on our 2nd baby. GOD bless you, your family and your business 🙏🏽
Hey there! I would love to see a video regarding the behind the scene operations if you will. For example, how do you determine how much product to buy and store especially since you are a part-time business (or were at the filming of these videos). How do you set up agreements with bakeries? Kind of the administration side of running a coffee trailer business! The trailer is gorgeous, and I hope to have something like this in the future!
