There seem to be a DE2 in Zimbabwe yellow livery. Is it there having brought something from across Limpopo or for either repairs or service?(2024.09.14-NgoMgqibelo-12:42-socalled South Africa)
"The WorkSafe inspector who investigated helicopter companies after the Whakaari/White Island tragedy did not believe they should have been prosecuted and felt so concerned about changes to his findings that he gave evidence against his former employer. The inspector, Paul Patterson, felt the prosecution had been pre-determined. He lost faith in WorkSafe and later resigned." "His final 53-page report was submitted on September 22, 2020. Eleven days after filing his final report he received an email from West. Attached to the email was a revised version of his report. It was 26 pages long - half the size of the report he filed. At its foot was Patterson’s electronic signature. “When I opened the attached document, it was immediately clear to me that my report had been significantly altered from the version I had submitted to Mr West,” Patterson said in his affidavit."
I am 81 sitting in Australia. I often look as steam trains on my iPad. And never subscribed to any of the many steam train videos on the web, that is until I stumbled upon your videos! Truly the best of the best! In focus, clear descriptions of the countryside, you concentrate on the locomotive and not wait for 20 carriages to run past. Thank you. I was in my STD 10 year, during the Dec holidays a waiter on the Germiston Mosel Bay route, I often do it in my minds eye again. I have a Marklin electric train set with original South African engines and original couches painted in the original SA colours . The engines worth today is more than R6000 because Marklin only brought out one set and then stop producing them. I was hooked on steam since early childhood. Today I enjoy the sound of those big boys! Thank you..
Hope you guys are well. Certainly great work you all are doing( And sacrificing)to keep steam alive and kicking😅. Hope any one of you can help with where i can find drawings of the shunt yard hand throws. I need to model and make these(14 of them) for my SAR layout. Kind regards and Thanks in Advance if any one can assist
Enjoy clips my dad stated at Greyville loco in 1945 as welder boilermaker and later worked at drawing office and boiler shop. Old breakdown crews easy job .makes me think of picture in recovery locomotive foreman office of loco in river Oh shit
I was SO fortunate to have ridden this Train at least 3 times before closure .... Experiences to be remembered; with much thanks / appreciation to the volunteers who kept the Paton County Railway active for as long as they were able .... 🙏💫💥🚂
Extremely nice job of filming and putting the video together. I’m sure it was a ton of work. Greatly appreciate it here. I saw these fine machines 40 years ago. I still think they’re greatest locomotives.
We discovered your videos in our search for more on volcanoes. Then discover you also like steam trains, yay. And now, this video of your home town, Trenčín - what a gorgeous place it is, you must be very proud! (Also, your house is very stylish).
So nice seeing them actually open up the regulators and give it some welly! As much a ceres rail should be highly commended, its not something you see with the dollies. Understandable due to maintenance costs and wear and tear, but still a pity for steam enthusiasts
Certainly all these companies that contributed to the negligence of allowing tourists to go inside of an active volcano. Surly each individual should also bear some fault for being stupid enough to walk into and active volcano. How could walking into an active volcano have any degree of certainty of safety?
