Best Tradition in College Football: There is a Children's Hospital that overlooks the field for the Iowa Hawkeyes. At the end of the first quarter of every home game, everyone in the stadium turns around and waves at the kids that can see the game from the top floors of the hospital.
The Florida Gators first football game was in 1906. The Buffalo Bills first football game was in 1960. The Bills look like the Gators... not the other way around :):) College football is much much older than pro football.
Different color uniform indicates whether it's a away game or a home game. Notre Dame would wear their green during home games and change the color jersey top for away game.
LSU is Louisiana State, people have ties to their universities and whole family traditions to them. They have different uniforms for home and away games. This is so fun. If you come to my state in February (Fur Rendezvous time) you can run the street with reindeer. Yeah America is weird.
What gets me is that it’s so freakin easy to make. Like I see people always wanting to try it because they don’t have it in there country when the ingredients are pretty universal. They just don’t know how to make it
I know there is a week of trainig before the race and also Peter has a long state of racing on this course. It's insane but what is insaner are the sidecars who race on these roads!!
College Football is the original level of the sport, it's 51 years older than the NFL. There are also not enough NFL teams to go around. The majority of states don't have an NFL team. The first College Football game was in 1869, Princeton vs Rutgers. First NFL game was in 1920. D1-FBS play 12 regular season games 6 at home, 6 on the road. I'm a biker myself and have been to the TT many times, these guys are on a different level of skill however remarkably,seeing this you can still see where he could have cut some more time off the lap.
They have recently changed the entry requirements for the actual races. While amateurs can ride the course in between race sessions, the actual racing is by invitation only. This is in large part to try to minimise the number of rider deaths.
Biggest thing people outside of America get thrown off is they see it as an amateur sport, and though pay isn’t really there, college football is more like pro sports than anything comparable in the international scene. Don’t be fooled college football is pro level without the pay.

I miss Tony! I know he's there at Pattycake, often helping behind the scenes with VP videos and Geoff's solo stuff, and occasionally sings in Pattycake productions. And I love J.None and Cesar. But still... I miss Tony as a regular voice in VPs arrangements.
@4:34 I kind of had to chuckle when he said "You don't expect so many people at a college football game" while his screen was paused on Michigan, home to the largest crowds of 110,000+. Damn I love college football! Autumn can't get here soon enough!

1. Clemson University, Memorial Stadium, Frank Howard Field, Clemson, South Carolina. The rock they're rubbing is Howard's Rock. The environs are commonly known as "Death Valley". The team is known as the Tigers. 81,500 capacity. 2. Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Lane Stadium, Worsham Field, Blacksburg, Virginia. Nobody uses that name, they are Virginia Tech. The team is known as the Hokies. That "Hokie Stone" is the bedrock of the surrounding country and many of their old buildings and bridges are made of it. The song is the hook, of course, Enter Sandman by Metallica. 66,233 capacity. 3. University of Michigan, Michigan Stadium, no Field Name, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The team is known as the Wolverines, and yes that is "Thunderstruck", we love AC/DC in the States, a lot. "The Big House" is the largest stadium in the western hemisphere, and third largest in the world. It is also the 34th largest sports venue of any kind on Earth. 106,701 official capacity, but they claim they packed 115k in there way back when. 4. University of Miami, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, Florida. The team is known as the Hurricanes, usually 'Canes. 65,326 capacity, also home to the professional league Miami Dolphins. 5.University of Nebraska, Memorial Stadium, no Field Name, Lincoln, Nebraska. The team is known as the Cornhuskers, but usually just Huskers. The horseshoe they're touching has been around quite a while. The song is British band Alan Parsons Project "Sirius". "The Sea of Red" seats 90,000 and has been sold out since 1962. That is not a typo. No seats for you since before Viet Nam. 6.University of Tennessee, Neyland Stadium, Shields-Watkins Field (should be -> Ward Field people, if you had any class), Knoxville, Tennessee. Right by the river, frequently a lot lot lot more boats are shooting fireworks while drunk (been there). They are known as the Volunteers, usually Vols. They love checkerboard, being loud, getting smoked by the Tide, and a song called "Rocky Top". The best thing out of Tennessee is Dolly and I live here. The team is known as the Seminoles (usually just 'Noles), with the full support of the Seminole Nation (worth a deep read in and of itself). The appaloosa horse is Renegade, and the man riding him is a representation of a former Seminole Chief, Cheif Oceola. 79,560 capacity. The fire spear and the Seminole Nation behind it is dope though. 8. University of South Carolina, Williams-Brice Stadium, the field is referred to as the "Cockpit", Columbia, South Carolina. The team is known as the Gamecocks. Yes, they ran with it. "Go Cocks" T shirts are common on tailgate, maybe de rigeur. Not very good but they do get very drunk. Capacity: 77,559. 9. Texas A&M, no Stadium Name, Kyle Field, College Station, Texas. The are known as the Aggies and have a strong military record, producing a lot of officers. Kyle Field takes pride in being the 12th man on the field. Also their band is top notch in marching, I think they beat them. 10. University of Oklahoma, (this is sad) "Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, Owen Field, Norman, OK. The team is known as the Sooners. I will refrain from a joke here. The "Palace on the Prairie" has a capacity of 83,489. 11. Georgia Tech University, Bobby Dodd Stadium, Hyundai Field (had to hold my nose to type that), Atlanta, Georgia. Home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, also known as the "Rambing Wreck of Georgia Tech". If you're wondering about the car they use it's a 1930 Model A Sport Coupe.
