Bruh, don't throw away the box. You can still take it back. The software is ass. Piano roll is just for visual and does nothing. Audio editing and sampling and slicing are all different functions and what you do to a sample in one is erased when you go to another functions. This shit is a pure rip off. I'm surprised this is still on the market.

I have a question regarding finger drumming, there is a world championship competition in Berlin and also in Japan, and I wonder why most people use Akai MPC Live 2 and not Native Instruments Maschine or another brand. This year nobody used maschine. What are the advantages of MPC in finger drumming?
I love finger drumming! And the maschine pads are the best, I try the mpc pads and there are nice if you have luck to get a good unit, a lot of double triggers, you have to buy new pads and fix it by your own, a lot of troubles.
I got two of these, and it doesnt matter if the HW is not the fastest, its good enough for me.. as an appliance (standalone), it will never become obsolete, and at the least it can always be used an an effects unit for other gear
You know I had this boxed up during the pandemic and I’m just now trying to put this together. I have a couple of questions if you could be so kind as to answer for me. How do you turn on the monitors if they are both encased and the on button is located on the back top left. I mean, am I gonna have to always leave a space between the unit and the wall to turn it on? Secondly, without installing the last piece which is the long top board, the monitors can be tilted to store something (or so I thought). But once that top long board panel is installed, theres no way to do that…did I install it right? The other thing is and i’ve searched videos (and there are a lot of videos) but theres no clear concise video showing how those two monitors connect to be used similtaneously. I bought a Mac Mini M2 and its got only one HDMI port and the Raven MTIs have one HDMI each, so if I were to use a converter, I read there’s gonna be a latency problem. If you could help me figure this out, I would greatly appreciate it. I thought I’d put the Mac Mini hidden behind one monitor but like I said, with the top bar installed, it will not raise to to so.
My man, you making it look too easy. What capacity SD card are you using? Any crashes in standalone mode? I had the Maschine Plus, sold it, regretted it and bought MK3. I’m missing the standalone workflow.
@@jfreshbeatz_ I've got an M1, but I bought it a couple of years ago after my intel started to crap out. Personally I don't think this Logic update is that great anyway. It's ok, but the hype is a bit much in my view. Apple people are so cult like. Either that or they're just shills employed for guerrilla marketing.
I feel the same way I was torn for a minute because Akai had been dropping a lot of stuff but I’ve been using maschine for almost 10 years this is why I don’t like to look at people reviews of maschine who haven’t been using maschine for a long time because it takes a minute to rlly learn maschine imo..
