Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre popularly called Entebbe Zoo is located 15 minutes from Entebbe International Airport, 36 kilometers from Uganda's capital- Kampala. The centre cares for animals in distress and need; often victims of bush meat trade, habitat destruction, or illegal trade. Individuals that can make it back in the wild, are released back. We don't buy animals nor use them for entertainment, but rather as ambassador save and maintain those in the wild, wild, through our education and captive breeding programs.
Through our publications on this channel, we hope that you will be inspired to learn and take a positive action for all creatures with whom we share this planet and conserve the precious resources for our children.

God bless y’all for saving the bird please let him stay in his natural habitat go pull him in a zoo please God didn’t make Eden for nothing. That’s where all the animals start at and that’s where they should end with their freedom.
Together we can reverse the situation with these birds. I am sure its not only illegal trade threatening the survival of these birds rather we should continue to protect their habitats, manage wastes to avoid pollution in their natural ecosystems amongst other challenges. Well done UWEC and her committed stakeholders.
