THANK YOU for posting this. I had the exact same problem with my 150k 2011 and I knew, I just KNEW it was the blend door. Can of AC Pro did the trick. It was low, now both sides blow firgid air. I thought the passenger side was blowing cold before but not like now, I guess I got used to it over the last few years. Would love to figure out why this is, some engineer in Japan is probably reading all this laughing his ass off. '
Yeah it seems like a common problem. Unfortunately the fix requires the entire dashboard to be pulled because the leak is on the inside of the firewall. It keeps working though.
Too bad they use a young woman model in a red bikini to demo it on the website. It is offensive and I will never buy anything from them again no matter how good the product is. What is this? 1950?
Ordered one of these and a forever sponge but never received it. Only form letters stating the products will be mail week after week. Been 3 weeks and still no tracking number or product.
Great video. I was disappointed in the warranty process after a year when told it would be 10 days before they could even process my claim. Found a good replacement motor on Ebay, and this was the best video on replacing it.
Thanks a lot. This helped me to fix our issue. We just had the right plunger connected and the spring and top popped off of it. I was able to turn the breaker off, wire up the one on the left hand side which was intact and it now works. Thanks for taking the time to make a video. Saved me a service call for sure.
I recently purchased a Powerfly 4 Gen4 - Maybe from your same dealer I am in China Grove and got the Bike in Kannapolis -- I wonder if you have any more recent thoughts isnce the newest video was about 2 years agor - Still Have the Powerfly - I have a place in the mountains so plenty of trails and gravel road to run down - I'm thinking of the starting with the fork replacement - but the bike is still brand new so I figure I have break it in first. Keep up the ggod work
Gosh has it been 2 years already?? I will post an update video. I was going to buy it from the Kannapolis store but it wasn't in stock and I had to buy it from Raleigh. But I go to the Kannapolis store all the time and they are great, honest, and very helpful. Well depending on what bike you had before will determine if you need any upgrades. I was already spoiled with my last biking having Shimano XTR everything, so I had to pursue getting the bike up to the level I was expecting.
@@CarolinaCowboys Thanks for the response - I am in the process of debating doing the same mods as you - Anything you would change on reflection? - Deciding whether to do it myself or have it done - With the videos I think I can do it plus I'll learn the bike and I assume Cabarrus will bail me out if I screw up - Additionally I am thinking of adding a dropper post (Lots of steep downhill in the mountains), a 625 Watt battery and 2 sets of wheels - One for off road and one for on road - I can do a 20 mile ride on the parkway and I want to stretch it
Gasket replacement goes more smoothly using acetone with a plastic putty knife. The acetone dissolves the adhesive, and the plastic putty knife is less likely to damage the ceramic.
I think your a load of crap. And you bought a 2016 rx 350 in 2020 for only 25k sight unseen? Why not tell the fine folks here how many miles it for on it? Was it 90k already. Or was it a rebuilt title. Just another nerd trying to wrench it and act cool showing off his horrible music. This is not going to make you any more famous topping any charts.
I had a question about my power reclining sectional. I had a plastic brace on one of the reclining chair's leg break in half. The chair is still operational, but the part where you put your legs is not as supportive. Do you know what the name of the piece is and where I can find it? Thanks!
Is that a piece that you could maybe glue back together? Something like that is not going to be a replacement part. If you can't glue it, then maybe make something else to swap it with .
Great Job. Nice ride. I just bought a 2007 Avalon with 61k miles. I will at some point change out the water pump, VVTI oil cooler line, and the spark plugs. Seeing how much work it is I may let that wait for a bit. The VVT line was updated in 2010 with the newer rubber line. It is a bit of a shame that it is so hard to work on but it is such a nice motor it may just be worth the hassle. Thanks for your video.
Thank you for sharing. I have the same vehicle and the (updated Lexus) rear shock absorber is $138 each, KYB Excel-G $150 and Monroe OE Spectrum $136. Lexus over the counter warranty is one year, while Monroe is five years and KYB is lifetime but defect is determined by the them (Monroe or KYB). If you were in that scenario, which would be your choice?
Wow these things are expensive! Amazon Prime = $50. Professional chefs and fast food restaurants have been using this method for generations. I learned how to do it while working at Micky D's back in the 70's. All you need is a hot grill, or griddle, hot cast iron pan, etc., and an old soaking wet cotton terry cloth rag, and a set of long-handled tongs. Afterwards toss the dirty rag in the trash. Save the 50 bucks and spend it on a nice t-bone steak!
You're right! But those rags do cost money that would eventually add up to this cost. I'm still using my first one so I'm not sure how long it's going to last.
I think you're still going to want to use it. Part of the issue is putting too much weight in the very back creates a weight distribution issue for vehicle handing, as well as very uneven wear on your rear tires.
Thanks for video. I have similar problem with RX350 2010 as same aircontrol panel. My aircontrol buttons not turned on as well as button LED light. Do you think that I need to replace new aircontrol amplifier?
Great video, so helpful!! thank you so much for sharing.. funny thing... the screw you said was super tight was missing when i opened mine up... hmmmmm... Also i did not see where you took out the four screws in the door face. With the door open it is the two highest and 2 lowest screws to remove.. but not any of the ones attaching the door or the opposite ones for reversing the door.
Are you talking about right here? - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z69Do7YM4iw.htmlsi=VzmyNvTWgwkCAP9r&t=268 I wonder if you have a different model than mine.
@@CarolinaCowboys yes it is slightly different, maybe slightly older or newer of the same :) I ended up with 3 extra screws when it was over, but it works fine with no movement or noise so I 'm just gonns save them in the part box for the next round.. haha.. I do suggest folks take care with where the odd scres go I had 4 stubby machine screws, and and the 3 days i was waiting for the part i forgot where they belonged... ooops..
@@CarolinaCowboys the super tight one was the 2nd screw in the top left corner of the door-cover peice i only had the first screw there,.the left most one, there was a hole for another screw but no screw there...
I’ve had many issues with installing led lights where the car is wired for halogen….making the leds flicker etc.. I already know about retrofit kits and resistors to offset the electrical differences. I’m curious if you have had similar issues replacing halogen bulbs with led “bulbs”
I haven't had any issues at all putting in the LED bulbs. I think those issues were with older cars that only had incandescent bulbs, but the newer cars have a mixture of both.
My recliner has a USB port next to the recliner buttons. If that's also not working and I've ensured that there's power, then likely it's the controller that's at fault?
Thanks for the video! I have a 2011 Lexus LX570 and my AC is not working it only blowing hot air, I took my car to the shop and the Mechanic told me that the AC amplifier is not working anymore. I want to get a new AC amplifier, but my question is does the AC Amplifier needs to be programmed in order to work or does not need to? Thanks!
@@touvang3307 @carolinacowboys I also have a 2011 LX570 with 193,xxx and recently began getting "climate system control error" when it was exceptionally hot outside here in Charlotte, NC. When it was only mildly hot the CC worked appropriately. I have run the dx and got the following codes B1447/47 Rear Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit and B1449/49 Rear Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit. The symptoms we are experiencing however do not seem to have any relation to the front versus the rear, they are in both the front and rear. I have googled and searched many forums for help with these codes and have come up empty. Any advice?
I forgot to mention, when it is malfunctioning it still blows but it's warm and humid. I have checked the refrigerant and that is not the issue, system is fully charged.
I get the climate control sytem error message in my car but only when it rains really hard? Would it likely be the same issue or could it be something else?
You're just splitting the signal to 3 speakers within the speaker, if it's a high quality speaker it should make a big difference. The downside is you lose control on the EQ.
2014 GX here. Took to dealer fully expecting one of the 3 blend doors to be bad but all passed diagnostic. Freon was 1 lb low and now it blows cold. Total was $246 including diag.
Hey, I discovered your video on how to get rid of red clover mites or red spider mites. Do you have any other suggestions that are affordable like under$20 that works close to this. Can you spray that on3 indooors too?
I put links in the video description to what I use. I think it's around $60 for everything, but it lasts for several years. I'm still using the same bottle I bought 7 years ago. And yes you can use it inside and outside.
Well I would say it's very good for cleaning up after a grill and keeping it clean, but if you're starting out with a nasty grate then you might want to get it clean before using it.
You should have changed just one of them and then put it on reverse just to check the difference , anyway thank you for the video. I'm gonna upgrade those lights right know.
