Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland exists to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of local Vineyard churches that communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and practise.
We summarise this as Extending God’s Kingdom together, everywhere in every way.

I'm an entercessor & have served the lord since 1975. With great healing in 1984 via John Wimber & the great body of Christ! I so desire to serve & end well but have been so low energy, multi. physical things going on! I'm praying for healing & ability to do the stuff🥰
I had just watched this guy’s talk with Tim Mackie about the Kingdom and what it really means to be a witness of Jesus. I thought this talk would be more in that vein - living like Jesus, embodying the upside down kingdom, taking Jesus at His word: sell all you have and follow me, serve the widow and the orphan, be a servant, etc. But the talk was just one joke after another. It’s no wonder no one takes evangelism seriously because it is apparently a laughing matter- something to be joked about. The talk did not move me to evangelism. I wish preachers would just preach the word. The Word is what carries the weight. The more stories and jokes a pastor tells the more likely I am to completely forget the sermon and the point. I plead with pastors to stop watering down the word! Read the Bible. Challenge us to live it. Tell us about people who are living it. Live it yourself. I think if pastors spent more time serving the widows and the orphans, the homeless, feeding the poor, etc. than they did preparing for a sermon, the church would look radically different. That is where the power is. Charles Mulli’s life and ministry embodies Jesus’s teaching. Just reading about his life moved me to start building the Kingdom of Christ- Tim Mackie is right on. I wish this guy would listen to that talk he had with Tim again and really take it to heart and use his voice and life to proclaim Christ and His Kingdom in the spirit of Christ and His Kingdom.
Yes we have the better story but we have to make it relevant for today. You are so right that Christians/Churches are mostly behind the upcoming developpements and ideologies.....we have the stepp forth!
The challenge is, if you have 2 or 3 kids, you can't do group activities. Kids find it hard to make friends... Still worthwhile, but it's not possible to do the same thing as might be possible in a big church
An excellent and needed tea hing for the Vineyard Churches(, which I I attend). I have a 60 year thorn that no amount of pleading and praying has taken out of my flesh. I live by grace but Im too often told that God always heals everything. Hasn't happened to me and Im okay because when Im resting or lying in bed I have very sweet times with Him .
How perfectly said... “Jesus promises us a life full of delirious joy, reckless courage, and constant trouble!” Oh how true that has been in my life! I love listening to you preach, touches my heart deeply and always comes with a side of laughter! So glad I saw this. Lovely sermon.💕
"Jesus knew His limits well. Strange as it may seem, He knew what we conveniently forget: time must be properly budgeted for the gathering of inner strength and resolve in order to compensate for one's weaknesses when spiritual warfare begins." Gordon McDonald
A insightful brief synopsis of the History of the Wonderful and graceful Vineyard Church and words of encouragement to the body of Christ at large from devout believers who were there in the beginning formation of the Dear Vineyard...
One word. “Ontology.” The study of BEING. Taking a step back from WHAT to do, and putting focus on the “Lenses” by which we see the world can make practice of faith second nature. I say lenses in a sense of getting an eye exam. It is when you have a proper lens with which you see God, the world, and human destiny, it is why Jesus said in Mark 4 and Luke 8:18. Mark 4: “Listen carefully to what you hear! The way you treat others will be the way you will be treated--and even worse.” Luke 8:18: “Therefore, consider carefully HOW you listen. Pay attention to how you listen! Everyone who has something will be given more, but people who have nothing will lose what little they think they have.” Based on these two iterations of the same lesson, HOW we listen/understand the God, the world, human destiny, we will treat others, and thus receive live, forgiveness (Matt. 6:15), mercy, healing, peace etc… based on how we give those things to others. So discipline without trying to understand the nature of human existence ,(Ontology), the practice of the disciplines will lead to despair, doubt of the effectiveness of the disciplines, and it will ultimately lead to failure- maybe even deconstof one’s faith.
