How’s the fit holding up? I got the lid and have been using it for baseball practices. At first it was a tight fit but after a month it’s loose as a goose and I end up with balls rolling around everywhere in my trunk every single time.
Well I've had 0 failure and used and charged the hell out of it weekly. All of the videos tying from that video till today is with the light on the UV Resin . 2 of my buddies that tie also using same light as well, you probably just got a lemon like that can happen with any thing .
Yeah thinking it could just been a bad one. I use the Hard type UV Resin on my jig heads and it does great . My other uv light left it tacky. By the way did you check the charging cable the one that came with mine was garbage had buy one
@@thecluelessoutdoorsman916 Temu only been around for a couple of years here in Illinois??? , for the most part everything I ordered was okay except for the uv light and underspin jigs .
Ay bub, great video for the SJ4000 night vision conversion! I'm wondering if you can put me on to where you got that particular frame with cold shoe light mount on the top? Really appreciate your videos on this camera! Ty
The bolt is off a .22, My buddies dad's old Remington 30/06 he wanted to bring it outta retirement last fall deer hunt with. Man it was pretty bad but smooth it up nicely he took nice buck with it.

Thanks a bunch.FYI. I couldn't fit the rope through the hole so I used sme tape to rap around the end tight to make it smaller,so I could feed it through .
Sorry late reply it's a small dog walker like spook we picked up from academy sports. You can find them on their web page. Search micro lures comes in set with crankbait, square bill, and a bladed topwater lure as well
We definatley need to get together. I need to you come down and let me take you out on Lake Pickwick at night and let you throw that thing on rock piles! That thing wouldn't last long. Fantastic night pattern for smallmouth.
Sorry for late reply Elk scouting no hunts on has had us super busy my son Brandon got a tag here in Kentucky. Love Guntersville try go there at least once a yr. Coming up next yr me and Brandon like take you up on that offer if you'd like to in 2025
I saw this disaster first hand and worked within the area of Jackson city. I worked in Perry and Knox counties. I worked for the State Hwy Dept out of Rowan county. I volunteered to work there. I was there for over a month. What I saw still affects me. I helped anyone I could. I gave money to Mommas for the children. It still brings tears to my eyes. I have many photos and a few videos. I can’t bring myself to remove them from my phone. I was there when the last two bodies where found. My prayers are still with these folks. I have never seen anything like it. “God please continue to have mercy upon these people, amen. “
I always misplace the ones that comes with scopes, dots ect. I fixed that by going to Lowes or any hardware store in your area and got a compact mulity size set. And doesn't cost much at all and if you get the foldable ONES like KOBALT at Lowes they will be 12 Allen wrenches at your fingertips when needed
Many folks are saying this forend doesn’t work with the 88. I wanna buy it. I only see a model for the 500/590. With folks saying you need something else to get it to work. I just want to put a light on it. Help!
It will work on the 88 most of the parts I got was for a 500. The 500 and 88 are near identical. I show everything you need and step by step how to in the videos on every add on for the 88 tac build
I forgot to mention....when crayfish are in molting which is normally twice a year depending on what body of water you are on.....I always add a small glass rattle. It mimics when the crawfish are using rocks to help pull off there shells. The reason I know this is several years ago I had a big tank and I had put in about a dozen crawfish. Over a three year period I noticed that most all of them would molt about the same time. I dropped a water proof mic down in the tank and watched them as they were trying to remove their shell. You could hear clicking sounds and in sone instances a dragging sound like when you lightly pull a rock over another one. Basically a scratching sound under water. Adding small glass rattles really made the difference because I would notice that during the molt my partner and I would get more hits on the hair jigs that had rattles than the ones that didn't have one rattles. With that said, I have had nights when they wouldn't hit the rattle when the molting cycle was not on. Same with using small black finnese worms. In this case we would shove one of those small glass rattles in the tail. Made all the difference in the world. Really enjoying you tying sessions.
Ooohhhh.......you throw this on a current seams line on a full moon night and hold on. I fish these jigs on 4 and 6 lb test. I have landed huge smallmouth on Pickwick and Dale Hollow throwing jigs like this on light line. 40 years ago I would never have even thought about using anything lighter them 10-12 pound line but Billy Westmoreland change my mind. Really love this jig. Outstanding. One thing to remember when using 4 and 6 pound line.....always re-tie after every fish and check at least 36 inches up the line for abrasions.
I couldn't have asked for a simpler jig to tie. Very nice! I noticed you were wearing a shirt from Cabela's in Lexington, Ky. Are you in Lexington? Only ask 'cause that's where I live. Thanks for the video.
I'm a Eastern Kentucky guy , I'm up shopping Cabelas few times a yr along with Academy Sports. I appreciate hearing from a fellow Kentucky fisherman. What waters you like fishing here in Ky? This fall/winter through spring, I'm going to be doing a series dedicated to just ties. Thanks for stopping by dropping a comment Tight Lines 🎣
@@HillsandGills I like Cedar Creek, Cumberland, Beaver over near Lawrenceburg, Fuist Creek over around Shelbyville. My son lives in Lawrenceburg so we have been trying to solve its secrets,
One of my son lives in Lawrenceburg as well lol. Man I love Cumberland and Ceder lake got some videos of me and Brandon getting on some good Bass there. I do a lot of river fishing here around home North, South and Middle fork of Kentucky River for Smallmouth and Muskie and Southern Walleye.
Love your patterns. Uou always seem to stay in the more natural colors. This pattern will fish anywhere in the country. Awesome smallmouth pattern. Great job.
Thank you. I truly appreciate it , I've been stocking up and going to be dedicating a full series this fall/winter on just ties, though, to spring. Hope you stick around for that fishermen like yourself are the ones that has me wanting to share ties . Even though RU-vid keeps me shadow band due to my past guns and trapping videos 🤣 but if I did it for $$ I'd stopped a long time ago, lol Thanks again, Tight Lines many catches
