Welcome to the Dracovin Empire. I am your lord and emperor, Tantus Narivan Dracovin. I am her to guide and teach everyone about the things I love. This includes collectible card games like magic the gathering, role playing games like pathfinder and 5th edition dungeons and dragons, board games, and generally anything considered nerdy and geeky. Find something you like, learn a few things, and enjoy the company of your fellow citizens!
Oh man nice choice! Probably one of my fav Darklords and one who definitely doesn't get covered enough! Psyched your covering ravenloft, been a fan for a long time and always hoped you would 👍👍
Wait, the Nephandi don't have to worry about invoking paradox? That alone would be enough to get me to dive into a caul! The entire point of the Ascension War is that the Traditions don't like the Technocracy's version of reality, and are fighting to change it. Sounds like the Nephandi have discovered a work around to this problem!
Yeah, but the price for being immune to Paradox is getting your soul turned inside out in order to become a slave to eldritch entities who want to devour/rape the universe.
White Wolf: "These guys are irredeemably evil, so we're not giving you any rules on how to make them playable." Players: "You already have. Or did you forget the magic system in this game is a sandbox?" White Wolf: "Ah, crap..."
I was part of a group in Minneapolis that played Spellfire religiously in the 1990s. We even went to the world championship at GenCon every year and were assisting the design of the ill-fated 5th edition. (We were casino supervisors, and Jim and Gary wanted our game theory expertise.) I even had an avatar named after me for it: Gib Nosredna. So many memories! So much fun!
I've come up with a few Fomori concepts for World of Darkness. A woman named Beth who went to Dr. Veridian's Workout Program and came out as a special case. I got the idea from reading a little bit of Freak Legion and seeing a gigantic muscle babe fomor tearing a Stargazer in half. Attributes: strength 3, dexterity 2, stamina 3, charisma 3, manipulation 2, appearance (sexy) 5, perception 3, intelligence 3, wits 3 Abilities: athletics 2, brawl 2, empathy 1, intimidation 3, subterfuge 2, drive 1 Fomori Powers: mega-strength (+3) enhancement, body expansion, immunity to the delirium Taints: derangement (misandry, sadism, homicidal) mental de-evolution (body expansion) A girl named Becky whose life changed after she started eating at O'Tolley's, she got addicted to the stuff and got hungrier and hungrier. Then everything changed when one day she was trying to save money because her habit was expensive but got hungry again, she discovered that she could swallow anything the size of a medium-sized dog or a small person. From then on she started eating cats, dogs, small children and midgets. She looks relatively normal if a bit on the chubby-side, she wears jeans and a t-shirt with a little bit of her gut poking out. Attributes: strength 2, dexterity 2, stamina 2, charisma 2, manipulation 2, appearance 2, perception 3, intelligence 2, wits 2 Abilities: athletics 1, brawl 1, dodge 1, empathy 1, streetwise 1, subterfuge 2, drive 1 Fomori Powers: mouth of the wyrm, stomach pumper, immunity to the delirium Taints: addiction (O'Tolley's and other food produced by Pentex subsidiaries, living flesh, hourly cycle) derangement (pica and cannibalism) A guy named Joey aka Danger Joe who was a fomor since childhood because of the Action Bill Temporary Tattoos and other products, he was recruited later in life by Pentex. He is an Action Bill super-fan. Attributes: strength 3, dexterity 3, stamina 3, charisma 1, manipulation 2, appearance 1, perception 3, intelligence 1, wits 1 Abilities: alertness 1, athletics 2, brawl 2, dodge 2, intimidation 3, streetwise 1, subterfuge 2, firearms 2, melee 2, stealth 3, survival 2, medicine 1 Backgrounds: equipment/fetish 3 (shotgun, armor-piercing shotgun rounds, Action Bill Special Police Badge, ID card, rank medallion, M-16 assault rifle with three magazines of ammunition, combat/survival knife with a compass in the handle and flak vest) rank 1 (First Team Private), resources 1 (a salary and a stipend) Fomori Powers: immunity to the delirium, shadowplay, wall walking, nightmare command, horns, hide of the wyrm (5) Taints: brainwashed, derangement (temperamental), special diet (picky eater), severe allergy (soap and broccoli), addiction (heroin, daily cycle), walking bomb Merits & Flaws: deformity Some guy named Sid aka Big Smoke who became a Sicklung fomor via the Smoker's Bane program. Because he was a bit angry he was experimented on by Project Illiad for other purposes. This idea has been living in my head rent free for a while. Attributes: strength 2, dexterity 2, stamina 2, charisma 2, manipulation 2, appearance 2, perception 3, intelligence 2, wits 2 Abilities: alertness 1, athletics 1, brawl 2, dodge 2, empathy 1, subterfuge 2, drive 1, firearms 2, melee 2, survival 2, medicine 1 Backgrounds: equipment/fetish 0 (ID card, rank medallion, M-16 assault rifle with three magazines of ammunition, combat/survival knife with a compass in the handle and flak vest), rank 1 (First Team Private), resources 1 (a salary and a stipend) Fomori Powers: noxious breath, immunity (airborne toxins), mega-strength (+3), hazardous breath (lethal smoke), immunity to the delirium Taints: breed prejudice (1), doomed (five years), derangement (temperamental), bane attractor, walking bomb
To be clear, I'm not arguing! I just need a pronunciation guide, I get all the PF names wrong 😂 Another awesome video, thank you! I want to play a game in Nidal so bad!!
Great content, thank you! I really appreciate your deep dives into so many subjects! I'm playing in a home brew game set in the Precipice Quarter of Absalom, and I'm thinking of playing a Grippli Necromancer's Apprentice Magus (Aloof Firmament). We are using Free Archetype, and starting at level 5; do you have any recommendations?
How did this game not do better? Oh wait.... the timing. Same thing that killed the gijoe game.... Well I just got the recent deal, but I'm thinking I should buy the burger box...
Wow 🤯 I watched your D20 Modern awhile back and really enjoyed the videos, and now I’m running VtM 1e and have searched around all over RU-vid for good rules videos (not 5e) and here you are again. So I liked and subscribed.
im here because of that spirit card blue and white with exalted. Saw a sunset that looked the same as the artpiece. So know i know everything about that version.
I'm persian and a huge fan of Vtm but why did they do that instead of making a whole female persian faction they just outright stole it from a persian king like adisa was from Scandinavia not iraq how did she meet persian king two different places so much faraway from each other its really racist and fascist to me that there is not a single persian based vampire faction in this game
