hi sir is this possible in developer org edition we make second generation managed package. because when i create namespaces i am not getting devhub org enable option , and why i enable devhub option i am not getting namespace option i am confused
Hi Puneeth, Yes. Usually we shouldn’t use namespace org for generation. Create other dev org and enable dev hub. Once you enable then you can connect name space org with dev hub org under “namespace Registration” in app launcher
Can we see the package details like all versions in salesforce UI in the Dev Hub org under all packages after creating managed package , because in case of 1 GP we can see the created package in org ?
When we don’t have components to deploy then there is no need of creating Change set. When we deploy components (fields ,classes etc) and profile together then it deploys along with permissions as well on those components
@@salesforcetechbook On the button click I have a apex class call and in this class I'm publishing the event, so based on the apex transaction I'm storing the value in platform event's field and then this event would be displayed as a toast in lwc. Is the above achievable? If yes please send me a reference
Basically, I want both the event publish and subscribe to happen on button click..... Where the publish would happen in apex and subscribe would be done in lwc in the same function of button call

Hi, I try to avoid loops as much as I can, so I worked out this alternative: I created a text variable, varPicklist, and assigned the value of the Multi-Picklist field to it. Used the Decision element to see if the value is already CONTAINed in it, then used a formula resource to add the new value to the variable. Then I updatde the record using the formula resource. If you think this would work and since you are doing videos, I'm happy for you to post it...

Ok i cleared this but after creating the package, it's version and promoting it, I am not able to see it in the FRONT-END of my dev hub org. I am unable to see it in the package manager
In dev hub you can’t see it but you can see them in your json file which you use for generating package and you can see list of versions by using SFDx commands developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_cli_reference.meta/sfdx_cli_reference/cli_reference_force_package.htm
Hello sir , i tried to promote the package and enterd the command , but i got this error :- Code coverage has not been run for this version. Code coverage must be run during version creation and meet the minimum coverage requirement to promote the version. How i can resolve it ?
Create other version , make sure you add necessary details in command to test code coverage as well while creating version and then promote nee version
Creating package using New Package button is first generation package where you maintain complete code base in your namespace org. In the case of second generation package we generate package from code base which is maintained in repositories . So you have to use CLI. You can automate this if you have dev ops setup with branching
Has anyone discovered a solution for translating the Dynamic Single Related Lists? We're striving to avoid duplicating each one 12 times just for title translations in every language. I have a field in an object with comma separated values. I need to parse them and add each of those values as options in the picklist. Any help on these ?
