THANK YOU! At 66 years old, I am not good at figuring this out, but this was great!! THANK YOU for making this old guys life a LOT easier!! God bless you! :-)
Just replaced net on my husband's Frabill frame. Your video is the best one - it took me 8 min 40 seconds!!! My husband was shocked as he had spent a few hours trying to figure it out even with some video help but not yours! Thank you for the video and not editing it so the most important part was left out like the others - one little hole/ inch at a time & flexing the frame. Replacement net is exactly like the one in your video but the original Frabill net was fed in a slot on hoop frame but that kind of net seems to be not available in Canada. Thank you again!! :)
We keep 2 on the boat. They are a must. Don't leave home without them. So much bait in our local waters here. Easy to use and ease of storage. Also work great for kayaking to keep the hooks from snagging up.
I was glad to meet Sam a few weeks before going for Bluefin. He helped me picked a surface iron rod for Yellowtail. I’m looking forward to trying that out on YT soon!
2-3 minutes and a lot of profanity to get it untangled lmao. Yep and what you said about trying to store them afterwards, I've tried rolling em up on a small water bottle, don't work. Thanx Capt.
Unfortunately net replacements are not available due to the net being threaded around the welded frame. However many people retrofit the ambush nets with landing net replacement netting. This is currently the only solution to replacing the netting on your hoopnet.
