8 years later, great video thanks. I have a problem with my krytac pdw, it shoots further to the left than it should. it could be a hop up bucking problem?
@@allizard mb on that, basically I'm putting a krytac nautilus gearbox into a Combat Machine m4 or a G&G exact but the biggest problem there is trying to figure out how to actually install the buffer tube along with the stock and keeping it stable bc there is no sections I can mount the buffer tube n stock to keep it snugged tight
@@casual9813 I never use G&G m4 but TRADITIONALLY (TM) there should be a buffer tube screw that goes thru the tube thru the lower receiver and secure on the back of the gearbox spring guide. As for the Krytac m4 gearbox, there is an old type and new type spring guide. The old one doesn't allow buffer tube screw secure onto the spring guide but rather on the lower receiver itself. I'm not sure which spring guide you have. But that could be your issue. Also, ask your question on the FB Krytac group. I don't often reply comments here.
THANK YOU! Krytac MKII CRB Battery specs: (I fit a 11.1V 1450mAh 20C 28.5Amp 116mm x 21mm x 16.5mm Li-ion battery in the buffer stock after removing the stock by lifting the opposite side of the press-slide and moving the fuse cable out of the tube. Would still recommend a 20mm or lower diameter battery for an easier fit.) Buffer Tube: 145mm length, 25mm diameter Battery stock side tubes: 144mm length, 20mm diameter Krytac recommends 30amps or less for batteries to prevent overspin (shooting more than one BB in semi-automatic mode)
Is it common to have 2 springs? I have the Krytac PDW-M and when removing my inner barrel I have the longer slimmer tension spring and a much smaller but wider spring overlaying the tension spring.
@@robin3840 ngl...that was my first thought, mild panic and sweaty palms set in! I did a little research after posting tho and found out the main one is an inner barrel tension spring and the secondary, smaller one is to aid compression under prolonged use.
@@Retch84 yeah, I knew what the first one closest to the top up was but the smaller, thicker one was new. Thank you so much for sharing that information! Did you find a way to put it back? Gonna do my own research as well but pls share everything you know!
@@robin3840 I have a long established habit (started with a grandfather clock as a kid) of laying parts out as I dismantle to make reasonably easy...the shorter, chunkier spring literally just slides over the top of the longer skinnier one so you effectively have a double spring setup. With the stock Krytac PDW-M handguard, you'll benefit from both as they catch internally at different points.
@@Retch84 then why did it come off and not before? I heard this little "pop" as I pulled out the barrel and out comes the chonk! Are you saying it doesn't matter?
So for some reason my gun has been ALWAYS. Consistently shooting straight but curving to the left. I’m using .25 high quality bbs. What do I do to fix it :(
Hello Allizard. I have a Krytac crb mk 2 in UK and its firing at around 295fps.my field limit is 360. I'm thinking of swapping inner barrel to a tight bore with a new maple leaf bucking but also swapping the spring to a m110. Would I still be under 360 fps with this 👍edit, I use 0.25 bbs
I when I put the little clip on the hopup that is supposed to keep the barrel straight, it doesn’t sink in all the way. This makes it so I can’t put the barrel assembly in my gun. Please help
Still jammed up even with the new gen...... the bb’s are still getting down into the gear box. This happened on my very first time using it before a game
Would I be right in saying that the hop arm would accommodate “any” nub but it just won’t retain it like the proprietary one? So it’s possible to use any type of hopping system, flat-hop R-hop etc.. Cheers.
Any standard nub... yes. all you need is a dab of grease to hold the nub in place. For flat hop, you have to modify the nub anyway as there is no such thing as a drop in fit.
Anybody, there is this small hopup outer tension spring, item KA002-62U, that fell out when I was cleaning the barrel... it never happened and I just can't find how (and where!) do I put it back in place...
