Let's embark on this exhilarating puzzle journey together! 🚀🧩
You certainly gave yourself a varied selection of images to do. Not surprised the Polygon Lion took a long time. I think that would be better as a pairs puzzle as would the Manatee Moments. Still, all useful practise for your competition this weekend. I hope that you will do well and be happy with what you achieve.
Just seen this video having watched one of your others. I think the consensus of opinion would be the more you do the same puzzle the faster you get. I found that with the Poke Bowl one, shaved 10 mins off from the first time I did it. I shall be watching your other videos over time.
I am not sure if it's a good thing doing the same puzzles over and over. After some time, you start memorizing puzzles. But it was good practice to learn about the shape of the piece and how to assemble it.
Good collection there and very varied. You never know what you are going to get in a competition, so you have to be prepared for anything. I wonder if you will ever tackle the Lupins puzzle that was in last year's Worlds? That was a tough one which took me five hours to complete. I don't regard myself as a speed puzzler, just someone who puzzles at a steady pace. Have you considered trying some of the Circle of Colors puzzles as those appeared at Worlds last year?
I haven't tried the Lupine puzzle. I imagine I would take a similar time. I really don't like nature edition puzzles, but it's the same for everyone. So, I need to tackle it with high motivation and don't give up. I have tried a couple circle puzzles too. I am looking to get more of them second hand. I like them :)
@@ThePuzzleRun The Circle puzzles are great to do. 😄 My times have varied considerably though, 4.5 hours for Rainbow Cake but 1hr 43 mins for the Candies one. Still have another four to do. Over time I have managed to obtain all the Circle of Colors puzzles currently available which I believe is 18. I'm hoping at some point to get the Postcard from Paris one which has yet to be available in the UK.
@@puzzlepiece9509 I am already checking new puzzles for 2024. They will be available soon. There are some beautiful round puzzles with black background 😊
Good time, made it within the 90 minutes for competition purposes. Not the kind of image I would do but in a competition you have to take what comes. No doubt you will try and make sure you have registered in time for any future online competitions. I do time myself with some puzzles but only to see how long it takes, not with any intention of getting a super fast time.
I was surprised how enjoyable my first gradient puzzle was, much easier than I expected (although my green/yellow section was the hardest). Very nice work!
Nice work. First time I did this one I made the mistake of trying to work a top down approach through the pink which ground me to a horrendous stall. The second time I did it in much the same way you did around the outside then into the middle which was a much better method.
