I too am 53, I too adore my dog ( as you clearly do ) and I’ve just retired n discovered van life. Adore it and v v pleased to have found your channel. V best to you both.
Brilliant video Shaun, real life 👏 I live in my motorhome full-time,I'm lucky that I have a park up & work full-time, I've just bought an E bike, game changer I do recommend getting one, during winter, I go cycling when it's nice, also I go up my local woods at night, pick a spot, light a nice fire 🔥 open a bottle wine 🍷 & chill for few hours, it's therapeutic & you actually meet others walking etc, I go live on face book & chat to others, if you need a weekend away, Friday to Sunday, I can hook your van up for the weekend, I've got a washing here, shower etc, keep those films coming your an inspiration to others
Your last comment was about "Will" now, I've watched every single one of your vids (wouldn't miss them for the world) but I don't know about "Will" so please tell me what that's about 🤔🤔🤔 And as usual I enjoyed this ramble about finances, work, relationship, and your state of mind ... all very interesting, certainly not boring. A rainy day in your van is sometimes just what you need, to contemplate what you are doing, and want to do, with your life. Sit back and enjoy it. Sunny days will come around . . 💯
Not boring, just true to life! Ive got to budget better myself. Winter is long and you have to motivate yourself, which is a bugger sometimes. All the best mate!
just use your iPhone use the personal hotspot for all your internet connections I use ee get unlimited calls and 200 gigs of internet £28 per month I am out and about the in my van all over Scotland and get good 4 g having a separate internet connection for the van is now a waste of money you only need your phone connection If you want love affection and loyalty it has four paws and a tail my pup is the love of my life and just makes me so happy and content
This is perfect. I'm trying to figure out a way to turn on my generator when my battery gets low. But with simple technology and not rewiring my generator. My generator has an option to turn on when my house power goes out. For my trailer, I want generator to turn on when battery gets low. Your solution will help me to feed a hot line to the generator to get it to think the power is on. In your scenario, when the battery is high. I'll feed your signal wire to a small inverter to feed 120 to the generator. When battery gets low, I'll use your idea to open the circuit leading to the small inverter, thus cutting the 120 feed to the generator, making it think the power went out. Then the generator should turn on! Just gotta figure out your parts to send the signal to small inverter. Thank you for the video! Chris
Wasn't boring at all mate. It was a good honest update on how you are feeling about things. Keep your chin up mate, when my marriage ended i thought my world had come to an end... It takes time to move on and only you can do that.. I'm 20 years single and I tell folks I'm a born again virgin lol.
It's hard work when you are on yer own I know. 70 years old, lived in my sprinter for 5 years, which I converted myself after a marriage break up. Married for 40 years. Found a good friend though my little Jack Russell , Douglas. He's helped me through cancer, kidney stones and prostate problems and now I am finding walking a problem but he knows that and he never leaves my side. It's good to talk and I often listen to you. Keep yer chin up and things will change eventually. Try and come off the anti depressants as soon as yer feel able.
Hi Sean I'm now full time in my sprinter self build. Now looking for insurance and getting quotes from £1k to £5k even from Adrian Flux how did you get cheaper insurance
Ģreat to hear from you Sean. There is such a fantastic community of van lifers out there helping each other out. Stay positive like Mad Mark who apparently enjoys the autumn and winter seasons! 👍
This might be a bit of a boring story I'd like to tell you why I do look forward to live in a van, you know how I think and feel about van life probably. Told you that before, anyway. What makes van life so attractive for probably most of the people, is the reduction of daily costs to stay alive. I would do it for not only that reason though, because when reducing costs comes that you can work less and, inevitably, do more with the live you have. You can go anywhere because you have your home with you, without thinking about 'going home' or having to go home because of a number of different reasons. I imagine not a surrealistic live like on RU-vid or Instagram, I think it will be tough at times. Anyway, love to write much more but I won't. Becomes to boring 😊! Great video Sean! With love from the Netherlands ❤
nice one sean you cant get cheaper prices in the uk than home bargains get you,re tea and coffee in bulk you are one of the easiest to watch out of the group i follow in vans keep going !!
At a fishery why do all the maintenance work round the lakes? And when I get bored at home? I just jump in the car and drive up to the lakes and just walk around talking to the lads. Stay there for a few hours and then come on. it’s always good to be amongst friends
Your last comment. Sorry it's a boring video. It ain't boring.its life fella.many people ignore it then it bites them up the ass.your trying and doing well taking control of what you can in this life.respect to you.take care

Hi Sean:) Not boring at all, I remember that weekend ! It was so cold wasn't it ,I remember being quite concerned about you,and you were so positive!! Anyway lovely to see you, great vid Love the picture of Teddy BTW, he's such a little sweetie 😊
Big fat hugs to you Sean 🤗. You are a beautiful soul. Although things haven’t worked out the way you hoped you have a chance of a fresh start where you can do anything you want. You are free. Enjoy it. Life is short. Your tea making needs some work though…looks a bit milky 😂
Sometimes life is not glamours no matter what you live in or who you live with but we have to just look at where we are just like you have done and try and stay positive and look for ways to improve our lives but mostly we are lucky compared to what some persons have to deal with.
Not boring at all. A good chat about life and money. Thanks for posting👍 Cant be arsed with all these fake shock videos trying to get views. Its nice to listen to a real person
@HMRC111 Have you just created this account TODAY for this reason. What I do with my money is my choice and he can do whatever he wants with it. Am off for a vodka 🤪
Hi there thank you for your comment, I now have a consumer unit and I only ever use my AllPowers R2500 to charge my van up if ever needed, to date I’ve not needed to plug in. 👍👍
