I just had my first baby a month ago, and because my husband live in a tiny apartment in Europe, we knew right from the start that we would keep baby items to a minimum, and honestly I haven’t “needed” all those excessive baby items… totally agree with what you said in this video! 🙌🏼
This was super helpful! I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and my baby shower is coming up, I also spent wayyyy too much time researching my registry and what I want for my baby. I also have a non-toxic and more minimal desire so this was perfect timing and actually helped me decide or choose against a few things! Motherhood looks amazing on you! I can’t wait to get to experience it too!
Ok this might have been too long and maybe too brutally honest?! 🫣🤪but I know navigating all these choices for your baby can be OVERWHELMING, so I sincerely hope this is helpful! I'd really love to hear from other mamas! Do you agree or disagree with any of these?? What are your must-haves?? Drop a comment for the new mamas below!! 💕
Where can we purchase Balanced-B8 Biotics Research?? I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy and really want to try this out for this pregnancy🙏🏼 The link didn’t work 😭
Sorry for that confusion, Isabell. I just fixed the link - you can get Balanced B8 in my Fullscript dispensary! molliemasonwellness.com/pregnancy-supplements/
I honestly don’t think you made wisest decision and the risks of it are apparent by the end of the birth; placenta is included as part of birth. I’m glad you seem so positive over this but you could have died. Your daughter is safe that’s great but both of you could have died. I really hope gods warning stops you from risking both life’s again .
I love your positivity and faith that you’ll be watched over. I am at this point 39 weeks, well I’m a bit ahead because they go off LMP and I ovulate during the period haha so the way I see it I get extra development without pressure.
That midwife took a huge risk. I have seen breech position in hospital delivery room get head trapped and not so great outcome. Its a risk that shouldn't be taken in the home setting. In a hospital or birthing setting intervention in an emergency is quick. If this didn't have favorable ending bet this video would be quite different.
This was beautiful 💕 A kingdom in heaven is at hand. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16
As a lot of people say, "The hard work comes with something amazing at the end". I love seeing everybody's little baby's because they are just so cute.
Mollie, I feel so honored you are sharing this tender part of your motherhood journey with us! I am 7 months postpartum with my 5th baby. I had four home births so I loved watching your home birth video! Even though I would consider myself a seasoned mom at this point, the whole first year postpartum is always a challenge. Babies grow and change so quickly, it’s constantly a game of adapting to their current needs. Just when you have something figured out, they change again. I’ve come to learn that patience and positivity are the biggest factors for me in whether or not I choose to “lean into” the challenging season and find joy, or to feel anxious and grumbly about all the things that I can’t do in this season. And I have to commend you, your positivity is infectious! I love watching your channel because it helps me re-frame my struggles with what can easily be seen as a “broken” body in a more positive, thankful light (I also have Hashimoto’s, and now post-partum thyroiditis). Your gut glow course and youtube videos also help me prioritize fueling my body appropriately and caring for my mind and soul as well. My nutrition and self-care is vastly different this time post-partum than any of my previous babies and a big part of that is thanks to you. And even though I feel like my physical healing is happening more slowly than I’d like, my mental health is so, so much better than in the past. And I attribute that all to nourishing my body appropriately, prioritizing gut health, sleep, gentle exercise, and a positive mindset. I also love how you incorporate your faith into your content, faith is very important to me as well. ❤ For me personally, I love your what I eat in a day videos because they give me ideas of how fuel my body in an easy, uncomplicated way. I’d love to see more of that kind of content. I’d also love to know if you experience flare ups in your Hashimoto’s and what you do to help in those times of inflammation. If my sleep is bad too many nights in a row, or stress gets to be too much, I find I get a Hashimoto’s flare up and struggle to function (joint pain, extreme fatigue, puffiness, digestive upset, generally feeling unwell). It takes a while to “get back to normal” and I’d love to know what I can do to encourage my body to return to a healthy place faster.
She is beautiful! She looks just like daddy. Her little face peeking out of the carrier. Just wait till she starts eating real food...you'll love it....just keep laughing, in between the frustration. My daughter had identical twin boys last year and I stayed with them for the first 5 weeks. Loved it. They live in CA. and we're in NY so I soak up all the times we see them, and FaceTime them. I tell my daughter to enjoy each moment because this time goes fast! Also, God doubly blessed them and they can play together. Take care and keep the updates coming.
Ive never heard of one mumma who had a home birth that went horribly wrong praise God for their baby passing during birth. Strange isnt it that they are not grateful that after 40hrs of labour their baby is born but will never take a breath, they usually regret their decision but it was all God. 🤷♀️
I am honestly soo grateful and thank God I came across your video because I am pregnant with my 3rd child, and am feeling overwhelmed about what to take and am currently not taking any prenatals and am almost 7 weeks pregnant.
I would love a video on the tongue and lip tie revisions! I had both of my daughter’s ties reversed and was thankful both times. But love hearing stories from others.❤️ congratulations on your beautiful baby🤍
Congratulations mama! I’ve been praying for you throughout your pregnancy and so hard after I saw your birth vlog and story. I feel so affirmed after listening to you share about your motherhood haha. I feel you on so many levels! I’m so looking forward to vlogs, quick meal ideas, easy snack ideas, and more knowledge on nourishment. I also would love more links to your homewares, because your home design is next level. Welcome back, we’ve missed you! Blessings to you and your family 🫶🏻
Every day I put my wants and desires aside if they are in conflict with any of my children’s health or safety. It isn’t worth it. Why? Why would you risk your child’s life? I truly see no way around it. Your desire for this experience, which looked excruciating, was more important than your child’s life. As mothers our job is to love and protect our children. We have to think beyond ourselves.
Breech births when done correctly - as demonstrated - are healthier for both baby and mother compared to C-section. Higher breastfeeding rates, breastfeeding for longer, etc. ❤
I think you are doing great! One step at a time! What about adding some light weight work every other day? At home, like 20 mins? So glad to get your update! ❤️
Awww. She’s soooo precious! That smirk she has right before you put ice in your coffee. ❤I LOVE the affirmations you spoke over baby girl when you were getting her dressed. Where did you hear that? Beautiful. Amen! Will you type out the wording? I want to share it with my Littles. 🩷🥰👏🌻🙏 I also exclusively breast-fed and ended up getting my cycle back at three months. Crazy thing is, I loved my little girl so much that I wanted to another baby and got baby fever and had baby brother 15 months later. 😅❤ all of our babies, needed tongue and lip, tie, laser treatments too. You are doing so well! Give yourself tons of grace, especially as a planner and being so intentional. Lean into not knowing what’s coming next knowing that He’s your perfect peace and good shepherd. ❤️
PS- thank you for the cutting board tip! I was just reading in EPOCH times about microplastics in plastic cutting boards and do “all the health things,” but hadn’t yet heard about that. do you have a link to the one you use? Looks awesome! I also didn’t want big heavy clunky wood although they’re pretty but I also like the flexible field so you can dump your chopped items into pans easily. 😊
I think you are very selfish to put that baby through that having a home birth with a beech birth . Just so you can have a home birth , you must be a tree hugger
What do you think we did before Dr.'s took over the midwives jobs? We gave birth at home and delivered breech babies! The baby wasn't any more traumatized than she would have been being born headfirst. Having your little head squeezed hurts.. no matter which way you're born. I'm sorry that you find this birth so upsetting. I hope you don't let it live in your head traumatizing you! Btw, have you ever tried hugging a tree? The worst that happens is you get a little bark crumbles on you! The best is that you let a connection between the earth and yourself grow. It's surprisingly soothing! Take care
I love how your dog was in the screen and on the bed with you in the end it was so amazing the four of you! I just stumbled across your channel but congratulations mamma ❤️
I especially love that your dog, was so happy to be by your side the whole time, and immediately greeted your beautiful girl. Way to go family. Congratulations 💜
Thank you. This right here, was what I was noticing as I am building my food tolerance while diagnosed with gerd. There is a lot to unwrap there. What is defficient and need to be incorporated more in your diet. Avoiding can help but it shouldn't hinder you from trying what you used to love at your own risk, of course. I have my own share of painful attempts.
Is this even for real?! I have no words. This is the most selfish act I have ever seen. This was all about YOU! Congratulations on putting YOURSELF before your baby's health.
I am so glad this worked out for you. I don't want to sound negative, but you are so very lucky this went the way it did. Personally i think this was selfish of you to take the chance you did. Thank God for your good fortune.
Loved hearing your story! What a tremendous blessing all around! Never had a breach baby but several parts of your story reminded me of my third baby-first one at home and very fast delivery but for a while my placenta also didn't deliver and we called the ambulance to transfer me, and then called friends to ask them to pray and literally in less than 5 min. the placenta came and we were able to tell the medics that we didn't need them anymore. God is so good! So happy for you and your family. <3
Your midwife was full of wisdom. She is much smarter than the OB/GYN's I had for my babies. Not having a C-section was a blessing from God. Congratulations! Welcome to the world Teagann.
