Did these guys leave buzzfeed because they couldn’t get through a video without getting drunk? I mean really. This is kinda sad that two young adults have to get wasted to have a good time.
There are things called as Channel Memberships and Patreon, we don’t need another streaming service. And also I only come here for Dish Granted which for some reason is dead. I wasn’t aware about the carnage until yesterday, now I’m just here to read the comments after watching the video once lol. Honestly I am okay to wait one month for a new episode after release, it’s similar to early access for Patrons so it’s okay. So yeah I’m happy they backtracked their plans. Must have been awful when they saw the reactions 😅
Steven is the only thing wrong with this channel. All we ever wanted was Shane & Ryan, personally i love ghost files, mainly because there’s no Steven.
Minor annoyance I have with this story: it supposedly took place in the 40s and one of the military guys is stated to be ex-KGB. That couldn't have possibly been the case, as the KGB wasn't even established until 1954. Back then it would've been the NKVD.

I believe in you guys and I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that the reason Steven isn't on is because of his new show. I like Ricky, I like his bartending show. But Too Many Spirits is one of the few shows where the three of you are ALL TOGETHER making Watcher. PLEASE go back and let Steven make drinks and the three of you interact the way you did when this show started. That was the magic. I know you're getting tons of criticism right now, but I watch all of you because I like the way all of you make content. And honestly, this would be MUCH more critical if I wasn't behind on watching and hadn't seen the trailer for Steven's new food show. For a long while it has felt like he was the red-headed step-child you were trying to avoid. I guess all I"m saying is...stop trying to make Watcher something it's not. We've all joined and stayed for the THREE of you. At least I have. Thank you for continuing to make content.
I'm not trying to pick sides here, and honestly I have no interest in the politics of it all, but they're doing this show because they want to provide people with the content that people really like, and the content that they enjoy making. Okay. They need more money. What else is new? Who is out here saying they need less money, or that the money they're making is enough? Put one foot in reality, and another in one of their shoes. It's a bunch of grown people that are trying to survive off of Watcher. They have families. And lives. And bills. A lot of them depend on this as income, and even for a video of two dudes in front of a campfire talking isht, for it to be what fans of that know and love, PEOPLE need to be paid. It costs money because it costs TIME and when the money isn't secure, and the time costs continue to be what they are, it becomes a problem for people who want to continue doing what they love. I don't think any of what goes on here is easy. None of it. It's a lot of scheduling. It's a lot of going here, and going there. It's a lot of set-up. It's a lot of takes, and edits, and micro-arguments and design and figuring out distribution....It's a lot. People who enjoy this channel are legitimately exposed to the tip of the iceberg. The final product. That's all. Personally, my opinion is they should keep this transparent AF. They should have a Patreon. They should have tiers of subscription. And if it's true, and they really love their subscribers and viewers, they should be okay with some people paying $3 and some paying $5 because there are probably some that would and CAN pay more than that and are happy to do so for the enjoyment they get out of content. $5USD is a big ask for a casual viewer who has options.....it's 2024 Watcher, y'all ain't the only ones doing cooking, and haunted mansions, and crime case files. If that's not enough to carry the business, and if they really absolutely love this industry and continue to see themselves being a part of it, then it's incumbent on Watcher to figure things out to make it work and that might mean getting rid of people, that might mean clawing up to a better place economically over more time. Sometimes the vision exceeds the monetary backing, and that's why we scale back our vision and modularize it and grow it out over time. Personally, I see people questioning the validity of the owners apology, the validity of them even really leaving RU-vid....it's a lot. I don't care. I don't watch this channel very often, and that's not going to drive consistent viewership so I don't understand why people think there's a ploy here....again, there is limited time/money, any extra video they have to make is a waste of both. As a company, Watcher has to pick their lane, and they're going to have to put in the effort and that's what I feel like this travel food show is about. They need consistent viewership. If you're worried about drama this, drama that, and you're only popping in to read comments or see what they're doing every few months, they don't want to cater to that kind of viewer. Y'all crazy questioning these people. Watch the content, or don't watch the content. What else are you really going to do about it? Like if any of you really hate these folks that much that you want them to close-up shop and shutdown and move on to different things via private lives, then why watch any of their stuff? You're just keeping them around for longer.
I don't think people appreciated the comedic timing of Ryan watching BDG as the monster run in to the barn with the Shane as the rat chasing behind him at 31:40 lmfaoooo
