If you see a white person you call them white. You don't call them Sweedish white or German white. Casca is black. You call someone black or white based on their skin color. Why complicate things?
Every dark skinned Japanese anime characters are meant to represent rural Japan and darker skinned Japanese people, unless they have prominent African physical features.
The concept artist H.R. Giger input sexaul body parts in the design like vagina and penis. Like the face huggers are both combined and the alien back head is design with a penis in mind.
Nakoruru had a longer run at the top in part due to how many times she appeared as a guest character, but now I think Terry is more popular or atleast is on the rise in pop.
Nakoruru is a wild choice. Terry has been their guy since 91 and has appeared is just as many games. I would even say more important games along with movies.
Even with superpowers, our people still are victims😂😂😂 As soon as i saw the "evil white people" i tuned out. It's a played out trope that we created and ran into the ground. Undercover Brother was better.
What was Kapernick going to make in comics? That's like the biggest bullshit part of the story that makes no sense. I never heard of any single major publishing projects he was ever going to put out. But he's played his former allies in the media to collect another major silicon valley paycheck.
I’m seeing it that same way. He’s looking more and more like a snake that that’s using black folks for personal gain. Then he disappears until it’s time to collect another check
I imagine even if Miura had come out and said that Casca was 100% black this video would still exist...it's pretty surreal to hear one of the reasons that she isn't is "well theres other black characters and they should all look the same!"....isn't that racist? I have no idea why this video even exist as if race is a plotpoint.
I think she is half black half white but the black genes were stronger. It makes sense when you think about it, Berserk takes place in a place equivalent of Europe. She has dark skin, but she also has straight hair and thin nose and lips. So yeah half black half white. She is the daughter of a Midlander with someone who comes from the Africa-equivalent continent in Berserk.
@@riverblack123 I respect your analysis, although her having dark skin doesn’t mean she has black genes or is half black. The most common dark skinned people we see in berserk are the kushans and they aren’t black/african. Miura barely puts black peoeple in berserk except for Donovan and the other dudes shown in the video. I don’t believe there is an African inspired continent in berserk. The Kushans are actually Indians btw because they are based of the real life Kushan empire (which was in india)
@@themechanic31kd The most plausible explanation for the existence of a few black characters is that they came from the Africa equivalent place in Berserk It is absolutely and perfectly possible and likely that Caska is entirely Kushan, but half-white half-black people can look similar to indians in real life. Caska is a little different from Silat and other Kushan characters if you pay attention closely, not that this means much. I think we have 3 possibilities: 1- She is entirely ethnically Kushan 2 - She is half Kushan and half Midlander 3 - she is half African and half Midlander I think option 2 and 3 are the most likely since she lived in a border zone between the kushans and midlanders or midlands and Africans or something
@@riverblack123 I’d say it’s option 2 because she most definitely might be half midlander since her mother was shown to have white skin and her brother from the 1997 anime backstory. And I agree that there is an African continent in berserk for some of the black people in it. I just meant it was never shown or talked about in the anime. I hold on to her having Kushan descent because I think she ressembles a lot towards them more than the black characters shown, but it’s mostly that the author Miura doesn’t seem to have any interest in African/black culture. He invest a lot more in Indian culture like the Kushans and from what I know, he said she is modeled after a dark skin Asian since that’s his ideal type. And since Indians are Asians it’s possible that’s what he meant. But nobody is sure honestly.
@@themechanic31kd Definely that I think. Miura is japanese so it's understandable he doesn't seem to know much about African culture. I think Miura was into tanned japanese women so that maybe inspired Caska? So Kushan father and Midlander mother? Extremely likely. Still weird how the characters don't recognize her as being a Kushan, the Kushan army doesn't seem to know that she is Kushan, neither does the village that was being attacked by trolls. Maybe it has something to do with the pilgrim vest?
Your thumbnail has a question on it does that mean you don't know not 1 person was black and any commercial up until about 5 years ago now every single person in every single commercial is black why do you think that is everybody is virtue signaling because they are afraid to be called racist that's it
There’s always been commercial with black people waaay back to 50s. Now I understand that there’s been an uptick in interracial couples on tv. I also don’t believe it’s virtue signaling from my black perspective it’s because there’s a group of black folks that like being lied to and as long as the are “included” they are fine. So they get used for marketing and anyone with a legitimate concern is a racist or misogynistic but that’s getting played out and old.
hey guys i hope someone helps me out here, im a league of legends player (very noob souls player) and i chose confessor and didn't know i needed to level up faith so i ended up lvling vigor and strengh, what should i do.
I first saw Ninja Scroll in the late 90's in college. I was already studying graphic design and was on anime and manga since high school. It both traumatized and inspired me.
I also think the same thing but i believe that it shows truly how angry and in pain guts has gone through. Doing things that looks horrible but people not knowing that the apostles are much worse compared to him. Including this is hatred he has for them for being weak and choosing the easy way.
@@akachijones8044 I think Zoe Kravitz would do good. She has same skin color and is a good actor and played cat woman . But I have a feeling like today’s woke society is going to want to change her character completely.
Looking at her, while considering the lore and story of Berserk. My bet is, she is either pure Kushan (which seems to be heavily influenced by Indian, Pakistan and Persian genes and history). Or she is a mix between Midland and Kushan (Midland being heavily influenced by German and British genes and history). My bet is she is mixed, considering she grew up on the border, and that she looks very Eurocentric, but with dark skin color and overall dark features
I think so as well. After reading all of it I definitely thought she was some sort of Kushan or just had a tan. Also agree with the mixed opinion cause Griffith wasn’t in Kushan territory when he found her with her family. Either way she’s not black
