I’m not so impressed with this. She talks with an alien, she hears humanity needs to be patient and take small steps, it’s no good asking to go faster because it’s been like this for billions of years, gets sent back home. So the aliens pretty much told humanity to wait………… that’s their message…… Which is what we were actually doing before “contact” and now will continue to do. We’re no better off really, just ……. waiting.
It’s not explained if the thing can infect a person through food, drink or spit and the alien cells takeover the human cells slowly within the humans body…..I.e zombie rules. this could explain why the thing could have fillings or earrings that are the same as the human it infected.
Snyder is better served with shooting music videos or something - it's all just a vehicle, an excuse for visual escapism to the detriment of all the aspects which would make such a project actually worthwhile and interesting not only to watch but to make. It's so inane I legitimatly believe I could write something better if I had time to really delve into it.
If you havent read the books, its fine. If you have ... accept that it estimates the book. Don't go thinking its going to capture the depth of the books.on balance, i liked it. Was it great ... no. Better than most of the things out there
