So I had recently got a deal on a new Unlimited for $320....was excited until I saw this video lol. Now I'm thinking I need the Advanced for my kid. She's 11....on the smaller side, contact hitter mostly. I originally liked that Unlimited for the 1 piece and the larger sweet spot, but now wondering if I need to wait for a sale on the Advanced and return this Unlimited :( Thoughts?
Great video ... great content .. .parents if you are looking for a good bat. Just about any composite bat will do 200-400$. You don't need to drop $500 bucks on a specific brand. A major difference between composite bats is the amount of composite material used. The composite material provides a trampoline effect... the less material requires less break in time to get the bat hot, but this also translates to reduced durability. More material requires more break in time, but also provides more durability. Those easton ghosts are what we consider "hot out of the wrapper" they have thinner walls (less composite) so they have a tendency to break faster. But bats like CRBN / Demarini's are manufactured with more composite... So take a look at your player, if they are someone who takes BP every day, hits about 500 balls a week; the Ghost might not be the bat for you.
My name is Steve Mendez, I am from Fort Worth Texas. I am totally blind and I play blind softball. Can you please leave me a customer service phone number so I can call y’all I am looking for a one piece bat I do not have a lot of money, but something that will get me started, I do have or I should say I am 5‘4“ 170 pounds and I appreciate all the information you gave in this video and a phone number would help me out a lot and placing an order. Thank you guys hope to speak to you soon.
@@markramos6709 that’s awesome! Maybe we would be able to get together and you can give me some pointers and also maybe even help me look for a bat at a local store or on your website it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much hope to hear from you soon, brother.
it is a Marucci and its actually called Gunship Gray - smashitsports.com/collections/wood/products/marucci-ap5-pro-model-maple-wood-baseball-bat-gunship-gray-mve4ap5-gg
10x better. The Miken Player is a very soft leather. Might last a few years. The Freedom or Liberty is a much higher quality leather and will last much longer. Hold its shape better, etc.
Both great bats. Hype Fire is going to be ready to go out of the wrapper. And should not be used for anything other than in game use. If you buy a hype fire, buy a cheap alloy or wood bat for batting practice. The icon will require some break in. Buy it will be more durable and could be used in practice if wanted, but as with any composite bat, its not recommended to be used outside of games after break in.
Translates to "waaaah, don't play at your best because I'm not as capable as you are... " Seriously? The only important thing to worry about is the longevity of his pitching arm. Being able to throw like that is a blessing and he needs to reserve it. It's none of his concern if the opposition can't hit the heat. His job is to do his best to beat them. He did that. He gets paid to win, not to be nice.
Just a side note. You better have some grip strength lol. It’s not technically hard, but that rubber is a well made product and definitely takes a minute to work on. Other than that these are a great product to add to a bat.
Little brother madres and their fans have never won anything ..you can see it when they beat the dodgers in July..they act like they won the world series in july..hey madre and fans act like you won before
