I have this in my playlists and it strikes me as a classical composer's piece. Every time I hear it, I forget it's from Donnie Brasco and I assume it's written by the classics. Amazing movie score.
@@Patkillskenny Yes!!!! My friend, may I please know what is your earliest memory and history with my country of México, with Mexicans or with Mexican culture as far back as you can possibly remember as a child or teenager in the United States of America? In other words how did you first learn about Mexico's existence? Perhaps your very first knowledge of México occurred in school, or from watching a movie, or a television program, or a sporting event, or accidentally listening to a Mexican song? Or maybe it was your father or mother or another family member or a friend who first introduced you to anything relating to México for the very first time in your life? Or perhaps your very first knowledge of México occurred in some other way? For example I was just 5 years old in 1985 when my father took me to watch Rocky IV in our local movie theater. This was the first time in my life that I heard the words: The United States of America. Before Rocky IV I didn't know what the United States of America was, nor that it even existed in the world. The reason for asking you all these strange questions is because we as Mexicans are by far the most culturally patriotic people for our country, for our culture and of our ancient history more so than any other nationality on Earth has for their own. Trust me, our love for México is like a religion for us it is that extreme. However... At the same time we recognize and are deeply ashamed and embarrassed of our centuries old corrupt Mexican government which is mostly responsible for all of Mexico's many problems particularly with our vast poverty, organized crime, general crime and lack of good employment opportunities. This is why millions of Mexicans migrate northward to the United States of America seeking a better life for our families and ourselves. Unfortunately the Mexican government is still too powerful to overthrow or change for now. But all the negative things about México are for another time. As a result of our extreme patriotism, we absolutely love whenever we see people from other nationalities that have any personal interest in our country, in our people or in our culture. In your case with our Mexican boxers Perhaps you also love other Mexican related things! Seeing people from other nationalities that have any personal interest in our country and our culture fills us with much more with patriotism, honor, joy and means more to us than you can possibly imagine. This is why I'm asking you all these strange questions. I would truly love and appreciate your honest responses to all of my questions Mr. Kenny. Thank you for your time and God Bless. Respectfully, Benito González García.
Underrated movie - Pacino & Depp give 'all time' performances in this. It has rewatch value too - can come back and watch this every couple of years and enjoy it just as much as the first time.
If I get a nickel for everytime Megumi Ogata plays a depressed young boy who has parental or social issues, I would get 3 which is not much but it's weird that it has happened thrice already.
