Ahoy! I make New World guides, news and info videos and much more! I've recently started also covering Deadlock, Valve's new MOBA-shooter, with Deadlock guides, news and more! I might also talk about the upcoming LOTR MMO and other upcoming MMOs of all kinds.
If there is ONE game that I simply wish to die... it's this one. I never felt more betrayed and played out like guys behind this woke agenda product...
They speak in code, that they are going to wait and see what players ask for to build their roadmap. Is code for they are really going to wait and see if the release goes well before deciding to do a roadmap or put the game in maintenance mode
- Make Open World/old content drop gear up to 720, a new raid and PVP drop 725. Leave the actual difference in power only a few %, so the skill can overcome the stat difference. This way, BiS comes from the most recent content, but the rest of the game also offers competitive rewards. - Levelling is the best, most engaging part of the game. And they wish to reduce the time it takes to reach max level... Bloody hell. This invalidates SO MUCH CONTENT as the open world isn't scaled, and most players will get quickly bored with one-hosting enemies of low levels. Seriously, sometimes feels like AGS is run by clowns who have no idea how MMO games work or how to keep players engaged.
I wish they’d make event rewards more interesting and also have a cooler concept for them. I mentioned this in another video but adventure quest used to do vampires vs Lycans and you would fight over an hour or day or whatever and get cool rewards and higher drop percentages if your side won
Cant wait for Ps5 relese this game is sooo cool. Even if the game will be an RPG with multiplayer in the future, it doesn't matter, I want to play it if only because the world, game mechanics and story.
Aimbot in PVP means the game is a no-go. Might as well pick a much better MMO that has far more end-game, if you are cool with target-locking. NW was special because PVP was action-combat with aim/skillshots. That being removed means NW made itself comparable to every other tab-target mmo out there and there are many that has more content and better development than the failures of NW.
Considering the wealth some players have (like myself) it won’t be too hard to find loopholes to get 725 BIS pretty quickly. This concerns me though because the gear gap with an additional 40 attribute points is going to be huge in cross-server game modes. I’m fine with it being grindy or challenging, but the way they went about gatekeeping wallet rmt warriors, and players with vast wealth or influence are going to have an overwhelming advantage. They should make the raid hard but farmable and bring back gambling crafts with a reasonable entry point per crafted piece of gear.
? you need 700 gear still to get the 725. you need crafting level to craft 725 with a material and blueprint if your unlucky with drops. Like its not a big deal people still need to make or buy 700 gear
so they've crapped on crafting YET AGAIN after taking two years to make it a decent way to create endgame equipment without having to spend hundreds of thousands in gold and mats. get ready to pay close to gold cap for single pieces again. thatll be sooo fun
Im not even a pvp person but it crazy the game has been out 3 years and you still only have the og opr map. What is the explanation for that one? Imagine if any other online pvp game had one map for 3 years. Crazy lol
This game needs a loot overhaul like diablo 4 did with loot reborn. Otherwise im not coming back. The loot tables suck, lack of gear sets or unique perks that are not the same as every other gear drop. Higher stats bonus when lvled to max gear score. Not doing 2 steps forward 1 step back mentally with stuff like gems. Thats what this update should have been. Chance to completely overhaul the way they do loot and gear.
Everything needs to be overhauled, like the war, gold distribution, territory control, market, taxes and end game. AGS spent their time adding microtransactions, paid seasons and expansions, along with working on console development for years.
nothing about aim assist on pc, nothing about shitshow for all previous gaer loosing, professions - go f.. yourself. It's ironic because it was so bright star and got so bad devs..
They're doing 5h1t that should have been there at launch for PC players. Do they want a thanks for making their game run smoother or something? Please....
4.25 problem is there is no new content GS 725 and little bit more armor is not new content, why even get rid od BiS 700GS gear to get non bis 700+ gear that doesnt make no sense.
Hey! Base game is $30 on steam (I think its on sale for $20 right now). This will get you up to LV 60 which is about 40 hours of gameplay depending on how you play. The expansion is $30 and this gets you access to the rest of the game including all new content. You can wait to buy expansion to see if you think it's worth it. Only bad thing with waiting in my opinion is that you would miss out on a mount at ~lv25 which helps substantially with getting around the map easier. Total cost is not more than $60 USD.
Console players get the expack free as part of their box purchase... PC players don't and have to buy it in order to play that content. Why not give it to all for free and just chuck those who have bought it some cash shop credits? Seems self defeating to create a barrier to entry for returning PC players. I am probably gonna choose T&L just because of this one fact.
They're also cutting the time to get to max by over half? Dude what? That's literally the part of the game so many people really enjoyed. In my (non-NW) guild, we've got like a dozen folks that are considering coming back because they enjoy the pre-cap experience but hated the endgame. Actually mindboggling to have people speed past the best part of the game.
Re: "mandatory" group content - TBH, I think this is one thing that MMOs SHOULD push. Making most of the game solo as the best route, or the main preferred route for convenience, is just making an MMO less an MMO. Yeah, people drop off when they are faced with the need to group.....because they are in the wrong game. If you're playing an MMO but quit as soon as you need to cooperate with other players, you're just in the wrong genre. I know folks are gonna come after me about different "playstyles" and "gatekeeping" and whatever, or how some folks enjoy the gameplay of soloing in MMOs because they can't find a single player game that has the same feel. I get it. I don't always want to group in a MMO. But the fact that they are *designing* the game around whatever keeps some metric up leads me to believe they don't actually have a vision for the game, it's just about keeping players, whether it's the right game for them or not....and that only leads to the most watered-down, lifeless, bland MMOs that we see today. Very few companies seem to have a vision for their game anymore. It's just we'll do whatever most players want. And players are selfish and often don't want what's best for the game, just for themselves.
I can't identify any changes AGS has implemented that I don't view as a net positive for the game. They are doing an excellent job and merit some positive recognition. Unfortunately, people are more inclined to express their opinions when they hold negative views.
Combat changes since s5 have been terrible from a technical aspect. Collision effects inputs, etc. The game went from being one of my favorites of all time to uninstalled.
Farming named items was so much fun and there are tons of items for so many different builds... Not allowing them to be max level is a disservice to the players and a large interactive part of the game to hang out with others and farm. I met a lot of great people just hanging at a monster spawn farming those items, that then led to running expeditions together, joining companies, doing PVP. It opens the door for so much more to play with others. Now it's just dead items that there's no real point in wasting your time farming. So sad.
I started in Beta but stopped playing last week. As a solo PvE player with maxxed crafting, I don't see any reason to come back. It was fun while it lasted.
Am I correct that you can get 1 725 piece a week from the raid and island? And it’s not even guaranteed perks? Or you have to grind these 2 pieces of content over and over til you get all your 725. Either one of these sounds terrible. Can you tell me which misery awaits me 😂
Everyone in the comments with disagreements should post in feedback forums so they can consider some of the players concerns. I get moving GS level up but crafting potential should always go up with it as well similar to how it has been supplemented to craft 700GS gear. Besides that I've been enjoying my return to the game, I just hope that they will truly listen to player feedback during the release and going forward. I think it would lead to good things for the game if they do.
There is no feedback forum. They got rid of the forum more than a year ago because they dont care what we say. They put up a discord and ban people for voicing their concern in it. Literally. I know multiple people who tried to be helpful and got banned for "negativity" because they mentioned the downsides and issues with certain mechanics.
Gods dammit I wish they would stop fucking over PC players. I've been playing solid since the beginning and I'm getting tired of it. I don't want to find another MMO or game to play, but if they put enough quit moments in front of me, one will eventually take me away from the game.
Hey Duke, nothing about autolock? every pc skilled player is asking " why do you remove the most fun part ok NW?" " why should we come back to an autolock/WOW game?"
@@smokedoggxxl the diffrence between them, is that pvp players based on skill choose this game. As it was lacking of content, they give life to it. You want an autolock PVE game there a millions on MMORPG that are just the same
@@spamerotvI never inquired about the differences; that wasn't my question. I asked what the potential issues with emulating World of Warcraft could be.
@@DustinHarms Frankly, I have no interest in following content creators who prosper through negativity and hate. Many who focus on New World seem to engage in hate view farming, which I find distasteful. Fortunately, there are new creators emerging now with more positive content focusing on builds and guides rather than perceived grievances.
Literally I'm on pc and wanted to come back and this sht is dead i can't find one lobby to progress gearscore all dungeons have no lobbies and ive moved to a more populated server
