Alittle about me, I like motorcycles of all nature, 4WD vehicles, off roading, gaming and letting loose to have fun! I enjoy sharing my videos with other people ENJOY!!!
@@dud335 yes, however I managed to reduce the 0-60 time even after heavy off road modifications. That video is posted on this channel too. If I remember correctly, it was a second faster after some light intake & exhaust work was done. Including fresh plugs, cat back exhaust, short ram intake and throttle body porting.
Awesome video sir, I have a question I hope you can help me out, did you know how big is the spring of the tensioner mine fall and can't find the other part because I just find about 1 inch and a half
Its the pistol rod over time of poor maintenance and long term use they wear down ever so slightly causing the knock you can shave it down a tiny bit to fix the issue i have seen a video where some did that i haven't personally dont that i normally just replace the piston and rod from another trashed mower or occasionally buy it new depending on how cheap it is 😂
Pull the pan off of it and pull the rod cap off..file the ends down just a little bit and take some emmory cloth to the crank shaft and smooth it out a little and put some grease on it and put it back together..run it for another year or two..take you all of 2 hours to do and save yourself a bunch of money and heartburn listening to that noisy sob..It's kinda like waiting for a damn bomb to go off
I thank you for being the only person to answer my question of why not just replace the chain. But the problem with your video is that 99.9% of Suzuki Savage owners are NOT welders nor machine shop techs. So if your not going to show us how to replace the chain and guides then why don't YOU offer a service where customers could send in their old tensioner and you add on the necessary piece? I would think that folks would be willing to pay even $ 100 to avoid buying a $ 70 or $80 new chain unnecessarily and the cost would pay for itself as you say because the chain is good for many more miles. If the chain stretches out in only 10,000 or 15,000 miles then how many chains would you be saved from buying by buying a new extended extension? I'd still like to see a video about removing and replacing the chain. For some reason , NO ONE has decided to make such a video.
