The problem with being so close to toronto is we have many tourists new to fishing who come for musky and dont properly release and cause the fish to die, we see it during our opening weekend tournament and unfortunately we rarely catch these people in time to educate them. should do an episode on safe musky handling.
Wrong a steelhead is a migratory rainbow trout a rainbow trout is totally different they can live in ponds and they stay in the stream they were born in there hole lives they do not migrate to the lake or ocean salt water does not mean it’s a steelhead they were stocked in the Great Lakes in the 1900s from salt water they stay in Lake Ontario and migrate up the the river that’s a steelhead lol
Hey guys, enjoyed the show. Would be helpful to have some more info on the techniques and baits you are using. For example I saw you switched to flipping jigs in the weeds but not really any info about what you were using or how, or where the fish were positioned.
You both have no clue how to properly handle a musky. Pretty goofy for some "pro" fisherman. Fishing for big pike and musky, and that's the net you bring? Great 1 handed vertical hold. Musky fisherman love seeing that...
