I have that Musial. I need to send mine off to be graded. Mine i think should grade out a 6 maybe 7. Well i have seen some PSA 7's that i think mine are just as nice as. But id send to SGC over PSA. But i also have 4 Brady rookies i need graded. So not sure where to send my cards off to.
I sent in 23 vintage cards to SGC in January and every card came back at least 2 points lower than expected. I’ve seen the same cards graded by PSA in worse condition and have were one to two points higher. I’ll never use SGC again
Very Nice. I love the album you put together. I wanted your opinion on sending in cards that look really good but are off-center from the late 70's and early 80's to SGC. It seems like they really grade those hard and wondering if you thought it was worth it?
I think you’re spot on with the centering issue. I’ve not graded with PSA but seen a number of examples that received higher grades and were not nicely centered. Thanks for watching.
Just found your channel. Nice reveal ,some very tough 70 & 71 vintage. Real nice 8 on the Munson, that is tough card. Looking forward to your next vid.
Very nice, it was an enjoyable watch. I've submitted to SGC 6 or 7 times so I love other people's reveals. You did very well, great assortment. Looking forward to checking your other videos. Good luck!
Thanks for watching. I just posted another video with a couple SGC card results if interested. You’ll find the most recent video at my Channel page. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed the video! The 1970 Topps football set is underrated and one of my favorites, love the Namath with the bandage on his eye. Great grades from SGC, the Unitas and Tarkenton cards are both really sharp. The Mays and McCovey have great eye appeal. SGC grades 71 Topps baseball pretty hard, I sent in two cards that I thought might get a 7 and they came back a 6 also. The 64 Aaron is one of his favorite cards, and yours is sweet. Looking forward to seeing the purchases you made, thanks for sharing!
Found your channel!!!! Congrats on the return. Like the 74 Hank. A 6 on the 62 Brooks is awesome. 68's are always tough. 4's do present well. Both 68 Mantle's look great. All of the 70 and 71 cards are very nice also. Wow, an 8 Munson!!! Congrats on that one too. These are al better than almost all the cards we find and submit. Snake
Thanks Snake. As mentioned most of these were in shoe boxes. The 68s were handled quite a bit but I think the 69-71 cards went from the wax pack to the shoe box. It was fun trying to pick the best ones for grading and more fun to see the results. Thanks for the sub.
I don't agree with the prevailing wisdom on 68's. I've gotten a couple of 10's before. By the late 60s, card production and sales were hitting their peak.
The Bob feller card because it's from the 52 set getting such a nice grade and the Ryan getting an 8 were my faves on this one. Lots of great cards but those 2 stood out to me.
Thank you. I actually remember acquiring the Feller in a trade for a 65 Pete Rose because of the age and condition of the Feller. That was 20 years ago but still glad I did it.
CAUTION when ordering 60s and 70s cards! I did it and I got stuck with many heritage cards. Instead of getting a decent commons player like Ed Kranepool from 1970,I got Joe Shmo from 2022!
Overall really solid grades and some great cards. I really like the 68 Seaver, 60 Mays, and 61 Aaron. Your Feller is a beautiful card, congrats! Enjoyed the video, looks like we enjoy collecting the same cards just subbed and looking forward to seeing more content.
Thanks. I keep thinking I should pick up a few more of his cards. In my opinion they’re underrated considering his stats. Check back later this evening for another video of a shoebox collection I recently bought. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. I was satisfied with the total results. I’ve since sent a second order but was more selective with my cards. I’m really trying to stay at 5 or above unless it’s a higher dollar card. Thanks for subbing.
@@commissionertom I'm totally okay with certain lower grade cards. I'm sending a few that will be in the 1-3 range for sure. Looking forward to your next reveal!
