Come on! What is the name/brand of that belt😂? Awesome vlog. Pretty small mat space they had in that gym but still cool rounds. Competition footage always appreciated as well.
The brand name is: Suidobashi Shokai. It's located pretty much right next to Suidobashi station. About a 50 minute commute from Chiba. Stoked to be able to find that place! I make sure to visit whenever I go to Japan.
It depends if they take their shoulders off the mat and post on the floor with their hands. If not, you literally just use this sequence. The idea is to throw your hips into their hips, it’s really hard for them to resist if you actually put weight into your crab ride.
Hi Tabak, will you ever do more no-gi content? I really liked your adcc trials run. It's rare to find someone who's so adept at no-gi bolo's and crab rides. Only other person i can think of is Levi. Musumeci use to but seems like he's more focused on leg locks nowadays.
Love watching your vlogs man. Was wondering, is your guard a mirror image of itself, or do you do specific attacks depending on what side your attacking? For example if left leg is forward, perhaps you would attack the k-guard/ matrix, but if right leg is forward, then you would go down more of a berimbolo approach?
This is a move I learned from my good friend Levi Jones! He calls it the “Xanadu” guard. It’s basically an extension of K guard, but higher up the body. There’s heaps of entries too it from the berimbolo too. A huge part of it is forcing the crucifix / creating back exposure. It’s honestly really legit imo. I believe he has an instructional on it too!
Truly enjoy watching these sparring sessions. I ended up buying your lower body guards instructional. Can I watch your match against Tama or Liera somewhere else than Flograppling?
The sparring footage is sick but the camera quality is not the best, there's something off about the lighting, other than that im really enjoying this series of vlogs
Poor guy. He just got Ruotolo’d. I knew he wasn’t going to finish that sweep even with the double pants control. The cons of not having the standing skills to convert that from a wrestling scramble. Respect to him though. He has a great guard.
Natan has the standing skills to complete a lot of wrestle ups. Esp in the gi. Kade is super hard to finish sweeps on, and then you gotta factor in that this was a catch weight match too (Kade being more suited for midldle weight).
@@ArielTabak I’m specifically referring to him not having the skills to consolidate a sweep against Ruotolo. Their scrimmage wrestling is so hard to contend with, especially with any kind of size advantage. Outside of Jansen and Hinger, I can’t remember anyone recently able to score or scrimmage against them.
