I fulfilled a childhood dream in 2000 and went and rode on that railway. When the staff found out I had come from Australia and this place was a dream of mine, they went out of their way to give me a grand tour of the facilities. Wonderful people on the RHDR. I will return again soon.
I really enjoyed this video, you have got some great shots. By the way that was my headboard on the front of the blue locomotive, I have been interested in the RH&DR for many years and it has been a long term ambition to give them some support. Sadly I can’t be a volunteer as I live on the other side of the world in Tasmania, Australia but I enjoyed giving them some money via their web site.
