Check out VIVE tutorial videos here. Learn how to set up various headsets such as VIVE Pro 2 and VIVE Focus 3. You can also watch tutorials for our VIVE accessories such as the VIVE Tracker (3.0).
This video shows the headstrap pivoting at the point it connects to the front of the HMD, but a review I watched of the Focus 3 said that point is fixed - has that been changed?
Just out of curiosity what operating system would this thing be running I really hope it's not Android because I've had nothing but trouble with Android standalone headsets
someone pls help idk how to make it so my monitor and my vive are connected to the HDMI cause they both need to be pluged into the same port how do i fix itttt
Okay. What they are not telling you is that you have to be signed up for the vive business software vive port service. Which is a monthly fee that you have to pay in order to get wireless streaming to your headset.Without this application and this service , your headset will remain in limbo and not work with p c
I'm disappointed in the fact that they outright binned the idea of the Vive Pro Eye and the face tracking module. I don't want to be forced into buying expensive standalone headsets that run out of battery and need additional playspace modifications for steamvr and the already existing 3.0 trackers. Plus is prone to occlusion when without light sources as opposed to IR and Lighthouse Based tracking.
I am having trouble with the camera calibration step. i am not quite sure why this isn't integrated into the app, and the documentation is quite weak in this area. For example I needed to install SDK Platform Tools (not mentioned anywhere in the documentation), also the command adb logcat | find "_calib_data.json" doesn't seem to work at all. Please either update this or provide better documentation as this is very frustrating for developers.
My eye calibration fails at the "follow the dot with your eyes" part every time. I don't understand why it's "Unable to Calibrate." I've tried several different ways to potentially fix the issue, by cleaning it, restarting the headset, unplugging and replugging it in, etc. But it always fails at following the dot. Why is this???
Dear developers, I'm stuck at integrating face- and eye-tracking (as well as hand-tracking) into VRChat. I've tried that in the Android stand alone setup of the XR Elite as well as on PC. VRChat does not support neither of the tracking features of the XR Elite, playing in stand-alone mode. VRChat for PC seems to recognise hand movement, but it's broke (it's obviously not tracking fingers but substituting the controllers by your hands). On PC the Vive Streaming App says that eye- as well as face-tracker are active, but VRChat does not natively support that. As you are even specifically promoting your tracking features for VRChat, would you please demonstrate the complete installation process? That would be great help! Also, wouldn't a demo program in stand alone mode be good to demonstrate that sensors actually do work? Currently I cannot be sure if the mouth tracking camera actually works, as I have no easy way to test it at all. I hope for your support! Best regards!
idk what i did with mine, but the eye tracking atleast worked automatically in vrchat without me doin really anything. Have you maybe updated the firmware or software? or made sure in vrchat that its receiving the osc input and such in the vrchat settings under "ik and tracking" (atleast thats what i think its called)
Hi! I've just purchased the vivexr elite + tracker bundle, along with the VIVE Full Face Tracker. I'm curious here if anyone can share their experience with foveated rendering support that comes along with the full facial tracker. I havent been able to find much content, if any, about the foveated rendering support.
Is the new face gasket glasses friendly? I have astigmatism and would prefer to wear my glasses. My glasses are 140x40mm, rimless titanium frames with high index lens. Thanks.
Can you cast from the xr elite to a tablet without an active internet connection? I work in home Healthcare as an OT and want to engage patients in VR exercises and direct them in VR while observing their headset view from a tablet either hardwired or wirelessly connected and many of these patients don't have a wifi in their home that I can log into.
