I am passionate about wood working, DIY projects, home renovations, and tutorials but I am also a problem solver and I love to help people. So, Use Whatcha Got comes from myself and all of those who rely on the tools the have, not necessarily the ones they wish they had. Because of this, I have taught myself how to do the best I can with what I have, hence the name of my channel.
It doesn’t last too long but what I will do is actually find that length then double it. I am usually able to weed eat my acre of land 2-3 times before it runs out.
Hi James, I put fairly heavy duty 4 inch screws through the plywood directly into my studs. Then I use the lag bolts that came with the hanger to screw into the plywood. So no, I did not use any anchors. My only suggestion would be to not use plywood and buy, a 2 x 10 or something like that. That extra thickness will really help support the bag.
Yes sir. It was ok, but the whole wall moved when I hit the bag, so I moved it. There is also a ton of wood on that wall, so that was just a bad place and because of the garage door railing, it was too short. But definitely try and get it into studs if you can. I think tho, if you put the lag bolts into 1 1/2 - 2” wood, you’ll be ok.
@jameswhite249 I would get lag bolts, if i did it again. Last thing you want is for it to fall down. But I happen to have 4” screws on hand, so I used those for the plywood.
Those are 0 and 45 degree screw stops. 3x3custom does a great job taking a bout this stuff - this table saw is different but the concept is the same. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-22oqr6o5z-w.html
Can’t believe you got those blades off with that breaker bar. I always have to use an impact when changing them (and it’s still is a struggle). Glad this mower is running, and I’m definitely stealing your father in-laws quote! lol
I was hoping you would see this video! Have you ever experienced something like that? It was so crazy man! Hey the belt is a bit loose now, any advise on properly tightening it, when the blades are not engaged?
I end up rebuilding spindles every 18 months or so and yeah I’ve had them disintegrate like that. Also have had them basically fall out the bottom of the housing a couple times. Regarding the belt does it work fine engaging the blades but is loose when the blades are not engaged? If so then you need to make sure the belt guides are in place. If they aren’t there or are facing the wrong way then the belt will skip off periodically and it’s really annoying. If your belt guides are long gone then you can make them with a long bolt a couple nuts and some washers
Eh. I’m not sure lol. I’ll try to take a look this week. It’s not that loose but it’s loose enough that when I throw off the blades, the first time it came off the new spindle. But it went back on easily. So the second time I eased off the blades onto the break, which btw broke too. So I’m ordering a new one 🤦🏻♂️
Tough loss on the zero turn. Would be so nice to have a working zero turn. You got some other things fixed, so at least you got some things checked off the list
We have similar problems with our basement. Dry lock and waterproof paint are the only things that have helped my basement. I finally learned the best thing to do is to extend my gutters and create ways to drain the rainwater away from the house. Dude you basically did three videos in this one video. Love all the hard work, and this is the first time I have ever seen a coat wreck with folding hooks. Well done!
Hello, I have not done that myself, but I think if they are not too heavy, it probably could. And the fact that they are rotten, it will be easy for it to cut it up.
Dude my wife does that all the time! It’s like she has a 6th sense and she has to come in when I’m recording lol 😅 I feel you on the vlogging/how-to content. I usually do a project and record it in just a couple days, but it takes weeks to get it edited. Vlogging would save so much tome
I have enjoyed that the most and it’s always been something I really wanted to do. So I think I may lose some followers dude to them wanting more straight forward content, but I think I may gain a lot of new ones because of it. I also think I’ll be more creative and won’t get burn out as much. We’ll see!
Dude, I love the genuine excitement on your face every time something went right in this video. lol The mower deck rusting happened to my mower as well. Instead of welding it, I took a 1/8 sheet of metal and cut out a piece a little bit bigger than the hole. Then bolted that metal piece to the top of the deck where the hole was. It’s been going strong ever since. Looking forward to part 2
Appreciate it man. I really am hoping to get it 100% and have it as my main mower. My friend that gave it to me, his brother is a decent welder, so I’m going to give it to him and let him decide how to fix it lol. The blades need to be changed, so another thought is to literally just cut up the old ones and use them to fill the spots.
Bro seeing your boy at the beginning of this video makes me happy! I remember when you guys were just expecting, he’s such a big boy now. My son turned one about three weeks ago, and he’s doing all the same stuff that Jaxson is doing. Looks like the kids had a blast, and the mower looks sweet too. Happy birthday, Melody.
Good to hear from you! It has definitely been a challenging year with content and adjusting to having a baby again haha. Hope your family is doing well!
Hi gforce, just trying to understand your question - do you mean if the hitch was higher? if that is what you are asking then, no. We had to get the adjustable hitch for height because everything was too tall. To my understanding, you want what you are pulling to be as balanced as possible, so if the front of your trailer/camper/pop up/etc is too high that could be bad while you are rolling down the road at 60mph. Hopefully that answers your question.
@gforce9068 ah! I see. To be honest, that never crossed my mind. I feel like you might be able to. One mistake I made was the main ball’s threads were not long enough to make it go through the nut, so I should have purchased a new ball that was longer (taller?).
So you can do the length of one are to the other (for me that’s 6-7’), but I’ve tried to double the length and that worked fine as well! Lasts a lot longer.
Thank you! I didn’t do anything to it! Left it completely raw. Some of the wood probably could use a sanding but it’s in my garage so I’m not worried about it. They sat in there for almost a year drying out.
looking for similar fuctionality/price/size BUT made in Taiwan or Korea or even possibly Thailand. Bosch made in China under “license” and thru experience learned China made “Bosch” far inferior, less durable break faster CANNOT be serviced. If 20% or more expensive WORTH it to avoid China fast becomes paper weight.
Hi, You don't have to take the sway bar on and off, just drive it from home until you get back home from your trip. If you are trying to back up in a very tight loop you might need to take it off then but if it was installed the right distance from the ball it should not have any issues. I have had a few of these and am just installing one on my tent trailer now because I want to tow it with my jeep and it si really short so this should drop the danger level.
If you spin the head around, you should be able to all the way through from the small hole on one side to the other. Then you can feed your line through.
Excellent overview! I was also looking into the history and couldn't find anything. I appreciate your research and the work you did to create this video!
So, I already have an anti-tip bracket installed. My problem is I now can't pull the oven out. Tried tipping it back, and that won't work. How can I pull the oven out now?
Hi Sean, good for the most part. My kids still play on it multiple times a week which I appreciate. the only thing to watch out for is the wood, it’s a bit soft. So anytime I’m weed whacking if I hit it there’s a chance I will mess up some of the wood so I try to be careful of that.
I've watched a number of reviews for this model and I'm pretty much sold on it. I have an earlier Workx vacuum/blower/mulcher and it still works very well, but the static electric shocks it delivers due to the dry air here in the California desert make it unusable often during the year, even through leather work gloves. I can't find any mention from any other reviewers if they have issues with static shocks on the WG512 model...any thoughts?
Yeah that’s the same thing my buddy who owns a landscaping business to me. I was thinking about doing a 2 year follow up video on it just sharing my experience but man, it’s still running like a champ 💪🏼👏🏼
Hopefully you still read messages on here. I bought this and it vacuums up leaves great but if there's leaves on a garden or somewhere with dirt that I'm sucking up, dirt/dust blows everywhere and everything gets dirty. Did you have any experience with this?
Hi Bray, no, not that specifically. I mainly have only used it for leave, and blowing in general. In my experience, sticks that are slightly too big get stuck in the fan area and it doesn’t chop it up. It’s easy to pull the cover off and remove the stick but just annoying. The other big issue is more that once it starts getting full of leaves, dust kind just starts coming off the bag. I think I mention that in the video, but I never use it without wearing a mask. I will say it is not perfect, it works well but for the price you can’t really beat what you get.
@@UseWhatchaGot maybe that's what it might have been but the bag wasn't even full at all but all this dust just started spewing everywhere and I'm not even sure from what I thought it was the dirt it was accidentally picking up
I started to put mine together couldn't figure it out. And your video helped me so much. I was absolutely stuck with those clips to put the sides together. With your video I got it together and I dumped a lot of food in there eggshells went and got some leaves from my yard. I'm crossing my fingers to see how long it will take to compost
