I am blessed to hear this organ every week. Our music director Chase has the voice to go with it. The most beautiful music I have heard is in church. When you are in the presence of Our Lord with His Church, there is no better because He loves us.
@@RodgersOrgans We had Dan Miller come to St. Timothy to show us what our organ is capable of. It is truly magnificent. When he pulled out all the stops it just blows you away! Thank you.
Noel Rawsthorne, the composer of these variations, passed away recently... He had a long life... I think he was in his late 80s when he passed. He also composed a number of other organ compositions which are not too terribly difficult and which are within the abilities of many organists....
Beautiful piece. How do you get a good recording of the acoustic pipes? Do you combine it then with a direct recording of the digital section, or rather record everything in the acoustics of the church (digital parts through their own speakers, in the ensemble)?
Hey Max, our Pipe Integration Manager system integrates the Rodgers sound (which consists of hundreds of state of the art digitally mastered samples) and acoustic wind-blown pipes. You can visit www.rodgersinstruments.com/organs/hybrid-organs/hybrid-organs for more information. Thank you.
@@RodgersOrgans Interesting, so if I'm reading it right, you can route certain digital stops through actual pipes or to speaker boxes hidden behind the pipes? Very neat.
Before playing a Hybrid, I never liked the idea of mixed pipe and speaker. But having played a Hybrid with a Rodgers 2M console mixed with an exciting Reuter 14 Rank organ. Ive definitely become a big fan of Hybrid Organs.
Very well done piece on hybrid organs. Triune Music does exceptional work. Having recently had an Infinity 361 installed to replace another aging digital organ, I can speak from first-hand experience on the workmanship of Triune Music. While our instrument is only digital, it is an outstanding example of organbuilding. It should serve us for a long time to come.
The instrument sounds GREAT. The reeds literally are amazing. I am guessing that many (or most) of them are digital -- Kudos to Rodgers Instruments and to your voicer.
I want one of these so bad! The church that I play at has an old pipe organ that doesn't have many sounds and some of them don't even work. The notes stick together all the time and many of the high notes don't play. It would cost over $50,000 to fix. It's just not an enjoyable instrument to play.
Call me an old cynic, but I am in the Minority when it comes to embracing the digital tech, but...this instrument has tempered my opinion somewhat..the range of this organ is amazing...MAD PROPS TO THE ORGANIST...
@@RodgersOrgans Yes,...Happy 60th,....I'm about to become a Rodgers owner. The little Methodist church I belong to is gifting me with an older Rodgers analog organ from the mid to late 1980's,....the church bought the organ back then. In the last year or two, they had no one to play it so it became of no use to them. The organ WAS going to be sent to a church in Haiti, but the Lord had other plans. For a long time,I was a fan of the "competitor" organ,...and was considering them,...but the Lord said "No" to that,..."I have a much better organ waiting just for you!" The Lord must have had a reason for leading me to that church! He had a plan and a purpose for it,....but I had NO IDEA I was going to receive THIS kind of blessing! I can't wait to get it home, and start playing again,...I miss my music!
Thank you! It is indeed a mix of both acoustic windpipes and state-of-the-art digital samples! We have more information on our website www.rodgersinstruments.com about Rodgers Hybrid Organs.
Hello Garreff, can you please share what registration you used in this piece. Would love to know. Thanks. My email is arlijoyt@yahoo.com. Hope to hear from you.
I was so depressed to hear that Lowrey was, once again, going under. From what I see in the discussions in the Lowrey Organ Forum, and organ forum's, there isn't a single mention of Rogers made, or mention of an American organ company still in business. I don't know why, but please go on the forums and re-introduce your instruments, I think you would have a lot of people swooning over the possibilities of another organ that is still made in the US. This might blow some peoples minds!.
Absolutely wonderful! Such a gorgeous trumpet on this organ. The full organ is thrilling and pipe-like. Garrett is an amazing artist, as well; he paints with a broad colorful palate.
Again, your gifts and talents as a great musician of God are shining through!! You truly can tell you feel the piece as you play, and that you put your heart and soul into your preparation. I wonder what was going through your mind as you sat and prepared and had time to reflect in God's house. Hope it was something that inspired you to play so well!!
Nice to see that they use your great talents as the new spokesperson for the Rodgers series!! You truly are very gifted and talented, and may the Lord richly bless your efforts to bring others to Love Him through the use of your ministry and organ playing!! Peace and grace to you always!!
I'm inclined to agree with that,...even listening to it on a youtube video! I never thought I would say this,...but this little Rodgers organ sounds warmer, and even more pipe-like than Allen's Historique organs,...and I'm an Allen fan! LOL!
UPDATE,...in fact,...I DO agree with that wholeheartedly now. The Rodgers Inspire Series organ blow the Allen Historique out of the water. I'm no longer an Allen fan. The Historique from Allen sounds,...well,..."too electronic" and boxy! I've crossed over to the Rodgers camp,...I'm about to become owner of an older late 1980's Rodgers analog organ being gifted to me by the little Methodist church I belong to. It's the organ God WANTS me to have,...he planned it! So,...I've said "Bye Bye" to Rodgers' nearest competitor, and have come over to the Rodgers camp,...FOR GOOD!
This may be a Jelani Eddington "arrangment" of Give My Regards to Broadway, however it was written by George M. Cohan for his musical play _Little Johnny Jones_ which debuted in 1904 in a Broadway theater in New York.
An absolutely beautiful piece in a trio of pieces published by Augsburg Press, Minneapolis. (I sure hope it's still in print !!) I will be playing it in Independence, Missouri this Sunday in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, despite the day is actually Pentecost 1 (Memorial Day). Good work, Garrett !! Thank you.
Do you have a resource where I can get the sheet music for this, also would you be willing to share the stop selections used in the video? Thank You!! Great video
