This is encouraging. Where we live, a manufactured home seems like a great option for us. However, everyone on the internet (especially Dave Ramsey) acts like they are the worst financial decision you could make. If renting costs more than the mortgage on a mobile home, wouldn’t it make more sense to buy a mobile home while you save up for a house?
@@shana8055 ahhhh, I hate that. Yes yes it does make sense!! We’ve seen many clients build tons of equity while living in their manufactured homes despite high space rent too :)
Thank you for creating this content, it's real estate process in a nutshell lol. Im moving to Salem next year w/ my bf and going to school online for my Real estate license- I'm pump and nervous to start this new chapter. Thank you again
@@hollyperalta6394 hi there!! Wow that is so exciting. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can help in any way at all, either with your move or with getting your license and all that entails 🫶☺️
For sure the Misunderstood narrative about Oregon culture. Is how kind, inclusive and compassionate the typical resident is. So much translation gets lost with hypermedia Focus
I love it too- lived here 40 yrs by way of Midwest and CA - humidity, and heat . Even though my kids are grown/gone- I still can't find any place better!!! I even tried HI!!! Ha- I am not leaving!! HAHAHA
We're currently thinking about a move. I find your videos very informative. Stil in the research phase. We live in Eugene now but wanting to move somewhere else in Oregon
Hi there! Nice, that is super exciting. Please don't hesitate to reach out anytime once you guys get a little closer (or now if you just have questions) as I am always happy to take a call to see how we can best help. :) Have a great weekend!!
Facts: 1. People who move from poor unsanitary conditions from out of state, have brought cochroaches with them and they spread quick. 2. Certain states that are sunny and warm year round, aren't nearly as humid as Oregon, so you won't sweat as easy in dryer conditions. 3. The air quality does get poor sometimes in the Valley areas of Oregon, especially during fire season, which has progressively gotten worse over the past 20 years. 4. Oregon has had some category 3 to 4 tornadoes rip roofs completely off and flip over small cars. It's a rare occurrence but it happens. Also there has been plenty enough flooding along major and mid level rivers that have swallowed entire homes large and small. Anyone who builds or buys a home nearby any river, are foolish. 5. Oregon has become far more crowded in the past 10 years, mostly from transplants from other states, causing major increase in rent, car registration, and other costs to keep up with the extra demand and maintainence.
Have fun. We live just outside of Salem and we are trying to get out. Tweaker town USA on one side of town. Third World country on the other. And drivers do not give a shit about the law
We sold and escaped Woodburrito just in time. The crime statistics are ridiculous thanks to an entire town overrun with criminal border jumpers!! Used to be a sleepy farm town now it’s IN OUR OPINION A LIBERAL DUMPSTER FIRE 🔥
Couldn't make it too far into the video. This is so out of touch. Talking about pumping gas while wearing a $2,000 suit and talking about rinky dink towns. Come on, read the room.
I was born here. It used to be halfway descent until the extreme left invaded the state. I am going to move because it has become a Socialist shit hole.
Salem is good af n ya safe theres definitely streets u dont wanna walk down tho like 47 st has had multiple shootings n a couple murders in the last 5 years
@@chris0596 ahhh honestly, it seems really bad online (like in the comments of my RU-vid videos haha) but in real life I’ve never met anyone after all my years living in Oregon who actually hates or would be rude to someone who moved here from CA TBH :)
If I had to choose anywhere outside of Portland or Salem it would be Wauna or Millersburg, but anywhere with a Crumbl Cookies and a Planet Fitness along I-5 will do 😂
I moved into Happy Valley 4 years ago. LOVE IT HERE!! Such a great town. Close enough to downtown Portland to go into whenever my wife & I want to go, but far enough away to feel separated from it. A quick 20 min drive to/from PDX. And wonderful eating/drinking/shopping options.
