So by giving injection through the thigh (intramuscular) how sure are you that you have got the muscles

Does any of this need to be sterile? I mean shut the bottle top of the bottles be wiped off with some alcohol? Is it OK to set the needle down without the cap on it onto the table and possibly get contaminated and then put it back in the bottle to draw out to add to the large bottle?? I would not do mine this way I would be more cautious about keeping my needle sterile unless this is going to be put in some oral form but to be in injected not good unless it’s sterile and that needle is sterile and that means nothing to touched anything and that everything‘s been cleaned. I’m familiar with Injections and I know the importance of keeping things sterile! Just saying
