Nice to meet you! My name is Ivan. I'm a full time freight forwarder with a huge passion for computers. In this channel you will see my opinion about various tech products!
Thanks for all the support guys! I appreciate every single one of you!
Like night and day. After 4 years with my 599's I still have no intention of getting anything new except ear pad replacement. I actually had the hyperx for a while before these just to have a mic, but they never even compared to the cheaper sennheisers I had before. 599's being open back might be a major contributor why I like them so much more than any closed-backs I had before (no other opens though). If you need a mic just get a modmic (or something similar) right away, don't be like me and don't suffer a full year with some crappy headset just to have one.
I spent a bit gaming with mini portable Logitech mouse. M187 I think? Actually wasn't so bad because it was light and I could spin it with my fingers. I did eventually switch to a G305 for ergonomics.
It's good to mention as well that the 5600xt uses about 30% more power, so in the long rune you probably get the money back with goin the rx6600. Also with AMD Fluidmotion (and many other features) now only coming to the 6000 and 7000 series, I wouls suggest getting the RDNA2 card
I use an external capture card over to my Laptop. Try searching on RU-vid best settings for AMD RX 7000 series on OBS. You might find some useful information.
@@ItsMeIvan- What capture card do you use? The settings shared by people on Google and YT for OBS just don't seem to be that good. Either the quality is mediocre (blocking/artifacting during motion) or it causes significant FPS loss. Maybe I got spoiled by nvenc with the 3070 :D
@@EestiGaming I use Mirabox Capture card, I bought it from Amazon for €35. It gets the job done for me. As far as I know Nvec is significantly better than what AMD offers. Nvidia is still better for content creation such as streaming and video editing, but for gaming AMD is good, unless you use Raytracing. :D
@@ItsMeIvan- I'll give it a go, thanks! And yeah, Nvidia is a better choice for streaming and workstation use but their pricing + lack of vram on more budget cards was why I switched over to a 7800XT in my gaming rig. Got the Powercolor Hellhound model for 542€. It's my first AMD card in a long while.
That's encouraging. Although, I'm not happy with the power draw of that GPU. I would _Not_ be able to afford the electric bill increase if I got that card. I am disabled and on a fixed budget. And electricity is quite expensive where I live. But, it's super encouraging to see how good the results are. Thank you, I really needed to see this information. Greetings from a remote village in Alaska.
Hello sir! Thank you for watching and commenting about the video :D! Personally I have limited my frequency to 2250Mhz on core (base spec of 6900XT without OC), this GPU has a boost clock of 2365 Mhz. When it's limited, my power consumption lowers from 275W to around 200W of power while gaming. I haven't tested the difference in an accurate way yet, but im still satisfied about the performance it gives me. I pretty much made the rx 6900XT into an RTX 4070 in terms of performance and Power consumption. This will be my next video! Stay tuned! Have a nice day,
@@RANDOMNATION907 Hello man, life's been really busy these past few weeks. I don't know when I will be able to post the video, but i want to share you the results. I limited the Frequency to AMD Spec at 2250MHz instead of 2494 MHz of stock Sapphire nitro card. Around 5% decrease in performance for 70W less power during gaming. From 245W -> 175W more or less. A 30% decrease in Power consumption. This performance puts it between the RTX 4070 and RX 7800XT in terms of raster performance. Overall in a year I'm saving around €40 with this configuration.
It's running at 3600 MT/s, which we commonly say as "3600 MHz". it's DDR = Double Data Rate so you multiply 1600 MHz to 2. It's normal to be this way. 3200 Mhz is actually 1600 Mhz --> 3200 MT/s
I've been using this same card for the last 4 days in my MSI B450 MB and R5 2600. I'm completely satisfied with the performance so far. Some of my games have doubled the FPS. It's a big jump from the RX580 it replaced. Thanks for the video.
im still using the gigabyte gtx1060 6gb from i think 2017, i bought it back then because my old card couldn't run battlefield 1 and i want to play that game. since then, there isn't much gaming, or high requirement games i play so no upgrade. i have tried to clean the dust but i didnt clear the heat sink, i think it is about time to open the card and do a real deep clean and redo the thermal paste
@@ItsMeIvan- thx, i did, redo the thermal paste. now i think when i play games it is at around 54°C and no noise at all. PS. i not sure the previous noise came from the GPU fans or CPU fans, but i repasted the CPU as well. coz gigabyte advertised their fan as "quiet" but it was very very noisy before, can't tell where the fan noise come from.
I’ve had these for 7Yrs they are very comfortable maybe the best outta every headphone I own these are great for gaming movies and music just very good warm sound very fun headphones
i had a similar issue with the treble being a bit grating on the ears but i used an eq to turn down those two parts at 5k and 9-10k hz where they spike and it made the treble much more pleasant
I purchased these few days ago for 99€. Best purchase in my entire life likely. I was about to spend double for beyers or more for the moondrops since I was satisfied with the design enough and thought I should go all in. But no, these were what i needed at affordable price with good sound and aesthetics and now I have more left for a dac or whatever. Economically it was the perfect choice.
There is alot of sound leakage. But you should expect this from any pair of open back headphones. You may be able to mitigate this by also buying pu or pleather ear cups with the headset, as the default velour has almost no sound insulation. However pu and pleather ear cups are generally less comfortable and can get pretty hot, and sweating in pleather or pu causes the outside to flake off and get pretty gross.
I had these to replace my HD598s that were breaking apart. After a couple of years, I ordered the HD650 thinking they were an upgrade. For me, the HD650 were built much sturdier, they were heavier, and the clamping force on the head was tighter. I am not an audiophile, so I can't really speak on the sound differences or improvements. I just know that my HD599 feel lighter on my head and a lot more comfortable for me. Therefore, I am keeping my old HD599 and returning the $359 HD650.
@@Ffoo_ffighter these are the entry level for audiophiles, but for some of us it's the better headphone. I prefer them over my hd650. However their virtue doesn't rest on their bass, if that's your focus then you should buy a consumer closed black Bluetooth with ANC. These win because of their soundstage which is wider than the hd650. In fact their bassy tuning is their weakness, being a bit out of balance.
@@residentzerolmfao, you literally came back with the most douche bag “just go buy Bluetooth anc closed backs because these aren’t for you Pleb” And people wonder why audiophiles have a bad rep, this pretentious BS right here
This is likely going to be my next upgrade, and I'm glad videos like these exist, 'cause it gives me an idea of what to expect. My motherboard is still PCIe 3, and while I've upgraded my processor to something more modern (from the R3 3200g to R5 5600), my GPU is still a RX 580.
Thanks for making this review! As someone who knows nothing about Headphones, the way you explained everything was simple and made sense to me! It was really well paced and unlike other reviews I've watched over the years from other people, you didn't use words or terms that I have to google every 5 seconds! Thanks!
Unfortunately, they do not accept returns due to whether the mouse fits the hand or not. They only accept returns if there is a broken, damaged or faulty product.@@ItsMeIvan-
Yes, those are open back headphones, depending on the volume people may hear the music you are listening to. Comfort wise though, those are the most comfortable headphones i've ever used
Just bought these few days ago and No, there is not much sound coming outside if you are in a day to day outside environment, if you are with a person sitting next to you in a super silent environment then he will hear it otherwise not.
I have an extremely rare model (650Br) that isn’t even available on their website and it has the exact same box. I’m tired of searching about the 650Br, but this is the closest to it. I just wanted to ask will it pair up well with an i5 13400 and RTX 3070Ti?
