I bought a Switch....And all I got....Is classic arcade/indi games...I can't be bothered with the grind that AAA games bring...They are often overpriced disappointments. If in the rare chance that they ARE amazing....I only play them ONCE...And then I never feel the need to play it again...RDR2...God Of War...Spiderman. But Hollowknight...Deadcells...Megaman... I could play them over and over again... Forever... Truly timeless classics.
I totally get you. AAA games just don't bring an enjoyment in me anymore. Games like Last Epich and project zomboid has become on of my favorite the past year.
I typically wait until it's been a while before purchasing a game. One recent example is the disastrous launch of Kerbal Space Program 2. I hope that the industry eventually resets and quits releasing broken games with the intention of fixing them later.
I've stopped buying new games altogether cause none of them interest me and they're broken on release. I know that's the case for a lot of people. I think there's going to be a shift sometime soon cause eventually people will stop buying bad games and the companies will lose money. Its just a matter of when. I also synergize with the feeling of not having fun with games anymore, for me I think it's just stress from lifestyle changes and the fact that I'm just about to start my life (I'm about to graduate college). Good video topic though, you popped up in my recommended so I thought I'd leave a comment👍
Thank you and very much appreciated. I'll try to improve on my videos as time goes on, hopefully I get better with time. I made the vdeo for people like me and you, Im about to graduate too and I feel the same way as you do. The best way to enjoy video games now are either playing old games or not playing at all tbh. There are exceptions of course!
I reckon that it had something to do with the mod you were using since it was a zombie mod that had different zombies and in the house there were a bunch of them, and they couldn’t possibly get through an iron door.
