His brother Jimmy was ALREADY famous while he was growing up, Jimmy met Janis Joplin, & through her met Jimi Hendrix and went home telling his family (lil brother all of this) & that’s when he decided he was going to play better than his brother, he wanted TO BE Jimi H. Layed his body on amps to FEEL the solos and literally wore that guitar from the moment he woke up (it was already there) and had cereal with it on him. And I hope you do more research on how he died. He died beside Eric Claptons manager. He was in Eric Claptons seat. He was sober & wanted to get tf outta there. He took his sobriety and his second chance SERIOUSLY and constantly stayed at AA meetings in EVERY town they were in. He was TAUGHT how to drop a gram of coke into a glass of bourbon? He had never done cocaine until he LEFT Texas. 😅❤
Alan Watts is similar in his thoughts. A lot of philosophers have always had these same talks unlike many theologians whos philosophical views make no sense.

My soul is screaming. I’m devastated for humanity. I’ve been living in a state of grief for years with this deeper knowledge. At a soul level, I see that humanity is going down the wrong path, many of us feel it deep down, a discomfort we want to ignore. We had time to turn it around but didn’t, our very nature prevented us from saving ourselves, the rot goes too deep and we cannot be saved. If humanity was an experiment, then its truly failed. The planet is safe, it will regenerate, but humans? No, we are already dead in our current state regardless of if our tiny human minds want to reject that message. There will be a reckoning and it’s coming very soon.
Just a side story, Nacogdoches Tx had a bar called bullwinkles and SRV likes to stop and play there when traveling. I’m too young to have been there but friends that were said you could hear his guitar when you pulled into the place. It was louder outside then most people when your standing at the stage.
@Jody Mac... Young man, I was at that El Mocambo gig, you speak of here, in July of 1983 on the 11th day of that month to be exact. I got to tell you however, I don't, know of, or remember any "rumour", or "folklore", that he had fallen asleep, in the dressing room, and that "they" "had a hard time waking him up". And at that time, I was working for the production company (called at that time) CPI (Concert Productions International) that presented that show, and many other shows, here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where the El Mocambo is located at Spadina Ave & College Street.
I've had a couple poor experiences... however I have also had a bunch of good ones. I normally schedule delivery a day before or after prime dates, since my issues. Only time ive had issues is when I schedule on valentines day or other popular holidays. No issues when I have scheduled on a non-holiday day.
This is lifechanging, for real. It has literally changed my entire perspective on life and I listen to it over and over again to remind me of what it taught me. It's so so so deep.

Jody! I'm not a musician at all, but I sure love music (Cranberries, Mozart, The Beatles, Zeppelin, Stones, SRV of course). I love SRV so much. I listen to his stuff in ear buds or headphones, hanging on the move, hanging on that moment where he goes back to the main line, or takes off into something you didn't expect - God I love to watch his DVD's, I might own every one of them - LOL. Anyway, thank you for this video, running down some of the history and such, just what I was looking for (well okay, also looking for videos that show just how amazing some of his finger work is, how he could catch a string on the way back up and such). When we all die, we go through a life review. All of the mental illnesses we obtained throughout life will be free as our souls leave our body. I long for the day my parents pass to the other side and see all of the damage they caused me. My dads alcoholism will be gone and he’ll come face to face with me, his son for the first time in his life. Consciousness never dies, it gets altered based on the transition you make. We all start out pure, life experiences is what changes a human being.

This business is being investigated by ACCC and after the horrible experience I had with them I hope they are closed down soon. If they refuse a refund contact your bank who will reverse the charge and tell everyone so word gets around and nobody buys from them anymore. How they are still in business is incredible.
