The iron axes are given to them by the bearers on rare visits, who use them to exchange other goods - such as home-grown tobacco. They are a very valuable commodity for the people. In earlier times they used stone axes.

I had to be there for 3 years until rescued and escaped. Tried to go Australia by Boat but caught and deported here. Worst case was I just got the butt ripped .
