couldnt continue wtaching after i discovered they wouldnt end up together so instead i watched this. DUDE why do they want me depressed?? is it that hard to make a happy ending to a kdrama! first 2521 now this!
The fact that even tho it was so unfair to him, I could not just hate how the story ended. Untold love story will be overshadowed by a honest display of affection. Bottled and unwilling crushes often leads to being misunderstood... I do want to know what the future turned out for him still...
I found out the who she ends up with and I can't. I stopped at episode 15. BRO THEY WERE PERFECT. I just see Taek as a little brother, yeah he cared for her but he was nice to everyone. Jung Hwan was cared for everyone too he just showed it differently ARG
The Kdramas are definitely inaccurate ... they bend the truth with artistic freedom, so don't believe everything you see in a historical Kdrama. It does make sense that if you grow up in a palace with all the royal comforts, you won't be as strong-willed as if you grew up in a harsh environment outside of the palace. In ancient times, the odds of a child surviving into their twenties wasn't very high, which is why many asian cultures have a 100-day celebration for a child , then an annual birthday.
i watched first ep and i was curious who she'll end up with and i really really wanted to see these two together, because of my expectation im dropping it i cant handle this pain ahh
Actually he was the 1st lead in this series. He didn't actually gave way to Taek. He was just really hesitant. Actually he and Taek were both hesitant after they found out they both like Deoksun. He tried so hard to meet Deoksun in a concert but sadly he was a little too late. And he knows that somehow it was his fault that he didn't get Deoksun. I mean he has an idea already that Deoksun kinda like him after he told her not to go on a blind date. Deoksun gave him hints here and there eventhough he didnt know yet that Taek liked her too. And before Taek made a move during the year 1994, he had the chance to tell Deoksun his real feelings. He even saved the fiance ring for her and told her everything but then made the confession looked like it was just a joke for his buddies. Taek probably saved so much courage to be able to make Deoksun know that she is special to him. It was really a sad moment for Junghwan but as he said, its because his a coward and hesitant that made him lose Deoksun. 😢😢😢😢
That's why last four episodes wasn't enjoyable at all to me. Jung hwan was the leading character against duk seon till 15th episodes. Seeing him got out of the central focus broke my heart.
......the original version is chinese version.and the story is based on qing dynasty's history, those prince was actual person and their life was destined.heroine get back to history ,knowing all the people's fate but she can't change any of that.she won't find any happiness when she knows the fate of who she love.
If Jung Hwan had the confidence to share his feelings the way Sung Sun-woo had proposed to Bo-Ra on the first snow fall night, then Jung Hwan first love for Deok-sun would not have been unfulfilled.💔 He lost her just for his hesitations.😥

Actually we could look into a more REALISTIC perspective. The writers made it seem like it's all about his choice, but they weren't enough for a happy ending. I feel bad for how they presented Jung-hwan's closure as if his happy ending was merely a product of his own choice. He's a flawed character after all. Giving love to everyone was his thing, and that's why looking back when he thought Duk Seon would choose Taek over him, he of course felt conflicted to even take a shot at confessing. His confession could have affected both their romantic relationship, his friendship with Duk Seon, with Taek, and it could ultimately have even torn apart their gang. I hate how people blamed him for being indecisive when it comes to love because it's actually totally normal for him to feel that way in terms of pursuing his own interests. 😭 Anyhow, even if he was extremely decisive and loud about his love, had Duk Seon chose Taek for personal reasons (obviously those don't always make sense)... Jung-Hwan wouldn't stand a chance against that, so we can't totally blame him. 💔😢
I am so late to this series but honestly I've been rooting for them from the beginning tho everything seemed to point to the husband being taek i thought they just gave off brother/sister vibes i finished episode 19 and just can't bring myself to continue 😂
I so much love this couple. He didn’t get her in the series, but the best love is better after the series is done. I do hope they are still together. They seem sincere and in love. I want that kind of love. ♥️
Junghwan is not so good in showing affection. He can't even show it to his parents, he's kinda cold. I wanted him to end up with Deok Sun so badly but he never makes a move though he has so mamy chances. His hesitation is the root of all his heartbreak. Taek in other way, never hesitate to show his care to Deok Sun, he admits he loves her.

And I am crying watching the whole vdo from starting idk why it always breaks my heart whenever I see him just his confession and ending with calling it a prank and just his no emotion face with thousands of emotions buried under that... Thank u for the edit and reminding me that I should cry for him again and again 😂
